Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Typical Atletico... man I cant stand watching them nick another title by these 1-0s or last equalisers... but probably will do, the other big 2 are too shit nowadays

10 minutes added time for no reason. Tebas really wants Atleti to win the title
He's probably salty at Barca and RM for the super leauge.

Cooling break, VAR check, and 10 subs between both teams seem like a reasonable reason for 10 minutes added time.
Oh boy, looks like we're going to have to go through a season of constant whining about referees from both Barça fans (as usual) AND Madrid fans. smh

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
All those reasons put together and the referee would still only give us 3 points if we'd been in Atleti's positions.
LaLiga have NEVER given us 10 minutes no matter what happens in the game. Let's not kid ourselves. Of course they are being more favourable towards anyone that toes the line
Both RFEF and LaLiga hate our guts. They'll will try to screw us over by any means necessary

5 mins max if it had been RM or Barca. Refs in Spain were never keen on adding a lot of minutes (unlike in the PL)
I agree with Hala

Tell that to Tebas! He’s now at the point that he’s taking daily shots at both Perez and Laporte. And we can expect the same treatment in CL with Ceferin taking the same approach.

Ronald Koeman: My relationship with Laporta improved? It has improved. But last week there was something going on of which I think it's not done. He was suggesting that the manager doesn?t have the full power. He spoke a little too much.
Koeman: ?He(Laporta) wasn't being wise at 2 moments. But he corrected himself again. We are also in contact about a new contract now. Thanks to me, this club has a future.

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
The moment Dybala and co laughed at him in the Barca-Juve game I lost any faith in him as a top coach. Then there was him playing 5 defenders when defending leads and playing 6 attackers when trying to win games. He had to get admitted to the hospital for stress regarding if he would stay at Barca or not. He also talks too much in the media. Truly Bush-league stuff.
Barca plays like shit and the only credit he has going for him is that he plays young guys. If Barca had money he would've been sacked last summer lmao.

What moment with Dybala was it? Hope there is a clip
If Koeman really said anything like "the club has a future becos for me" I would be furious actually, what a stuck up delusional **** of a coach. I hope Laporta fires him as soon as he can afford to ffs... and I also would like to laugh at him tonight if we get humiliated by Bayern again. Cant wait lool~

He's right :re Barca having a future because of him. His relationship with Memphis is a big reason he's there, y'know, Barca's talisman for the next few years. Put some respect on his name.

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Eduard Romeu, vice-president of the economic department of Barca:
"It is possible that Real Madrid could sign Mbappé and Haaland. Madrid is a great club and has a very great strength. If we had done our homework in recent years, we would be in the same situation. Florentino Pérez has a club management that you have to take your hat off. At an economic and business level, no one is going to match Mr. Pérez. I have great admiration for him on a business level and on a personal level he has been very kind every time we have met. I can only give words of praise to him. "
That's why he'll go down as the best president ever. Legend!

True quote? I doubt it, unless its Barca waiting to suck up to Flo since the situation is so dire that anyone who can help salvage our financial ruins the management are happy to do it?

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
The quote seems true, i've seen it in a couple sources. You have to admit though that the bar has been set very low. In comparison with Fartomeu anyone looks like an economic genius.
Laporta will come good though. He knows how to handle the deficit
The things I'm more worried about is the sporting area and the scouting area. Money aside, we've simply been chasing and recruiting the wrong players and coaches in terms of profile and playing style.

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Barca i think right now are trying to lower the players' salaries in order to create a pay structure that's sustainable for the long term that's probably why they are going for Koeman's dutch friends as they'll be getting peanuts. Once they have a handle on that they'll start competing for the biggest stars. I wouldn't be surprised if Barca follow our salary hierarchy system in order to have a proper structure. Seems like Bartomeu put in bonus clauses that'd be activated when it wasn't his problem to bear anymore which is very low
Player recruitment that's practically square pegs round holes. Look no further than us that were stuffing our team with a bunch of AMs that we had no use for. What Barca need is a coach that has the necessary clout with the board and who has a perfect idea of what he wants in terms of player profile. Barca have a plethora of promising midfielders, everything should be done to make their lives easier. Getting DeJong is not making their lives easier and thats on Koeman tbh

there is then one name fitting Xavi.
BTW, does not Bayern have the best wage structure? Madrid comes second to only Barca in terms of wage bills if I am not mistaken. Or am i missing something here

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Bayern have a lower wage bill than us. But:
Firstly, we are richer more valuable than BM. In fact we are the richest and most valuable club in the world and have been for a number of years (thank you glazers). Secondly, we have about double as many players on our roster as Bayern. Thirdly, we are vastly overpaying certain players like Bale, Hazard and Mariano and all of them surprise surprise are refusing to leave.
Bayern's minumum wage is alot higher than our. For example Musiala is getting double as much as Vinicius. But our highest earner earns nearly double as much as their highest earner (biggest mistake in Perez' career). Soon we'll be rid of him however but Hazard will be our newest problem.
We have certain players who are criminally underpaid but unlike the Bayern players they don't moan and prefer to stay with the club. Benz for example is paid less than Sane and Hernandez amongst others and with his age the club probably won't increase those wages but unlike Lewa who wants to leave every season Benz prefers to stay
All in all Bayern haven't got a wage hierarchy which is why they all get so jealous of eachother when players get signed for higher wages or get renewed with higher wages while our players accept what the club gives them. When they start getting gready (Ronaldo) they are told to pack up their things and leave or profess their love for the club when they know Perez aint bluffing (Ramos)
I prefer our wage structure to Bayern's tbh but since they are all on such high wages that they don't deserve we have difficulties shifting them when they are surplus to requirements
