That’s absolutely the reason. It’s because he knows now that Messi is at PSG he’s going to be stat padding more CL’s and Ballon d’or which will make Ronaldo look worse in comparison. His only hope to match up is to join a super team himself. That’s why he had Mendes hitting up City and told Aguirre to tell the media he’s talking about a potential return to Madrid (which Ancelotti hilariously shut down).

With Messi winning Copa America, moving out of Barca, and about to win his 7th ballon d’or Ronaldo knows he needs to leave to maintain the comparisons.

Of course it's the Dybala year, player who performs in even-numbered years and sleeps in odd years ( just comparing stats, it's real)

Indeed, I expect to win this one. The competition will be tight though, no walking this time.

Besides Dybala, Bentancur looks particularly revived. Very good match so far.

Bernardeschi has looked solid, nothing spectacular.

Morata is the only player looking uninspired.

Good first half

Perhaps just a gut feelings Berna might come back to life this season. He played well under Allegri. He's bad in system because he relies a lot on initiative, also he had lost his skills for mysterious reasons.

Those two wasted years with Sarri and Pirlo feels like an eternity.

It's just 45 minutes but I have a good feeling we're back where we belong.

Now to see this team with Ronaldo, Cheisa, and Locatelli

Yesterday's match highlighted the importance of signing a good GK. Atalanta won due to the individual brilliance of two players: Muriel and Musso. Upgrading from Gollini to Musso will be huge for their season.

I don't think we would've been able to afford Donnarumma's salary plus the massive commission to Raiola without a significant departure. That's the point.

And we couldn't ship Szczesny off due to his salary. Paratici did a disastrous job with the contract extensions during his time here.

Despite the team, i still think Udinese have what it takes to stay in Serie A

They got Silvestri, Duelofeu, Pereyra, Pussetto, Stryger Larsen (rumored to go out)
