I'd say business is about 50% complete.

I like the White signing. Expensive but we needed a ball playing defender after Luiz left, plus he's quick and plays on the front foot. He'll help our build-up and let us play a higher defensive line. Good age too.

Tavares and Lokonga are young guys I need to see more of but they're options in positions we lacked depth. 30m for both isn't bad.

Still need a starting right back, backup keeper and an AM. I think an AM will come eventually, not sure about the other two. I would have liked another CM too but Xhaka's move to Roma fell through. He and Elneny starting the Brentford game is disappointing ngl.

I knew this window would be difficult for the club for a lot of reasons. They have to sign a minimum of 6 new players, at least 4 of which have to be genuine upgrades while trying to get good deals for unwanted players in a depressed market outside of the PL. Many clubs will struggle with that. Late deals are inevitable so I'm waiting a bit longer. If no one else arrives then I can't say it's been a good window.

Fans will lose their shit if we lose to Brentford regardless of who we sign.

We've sold Varane for 50 ME and are about to do the same with Odegaard. Probably got our money for Achraf this year too and if we can shift Ceballos to Sevilla we wouldn't have a problem paying such a big sum. I don't want us to do it again after wasting that much on Hazard, rather get him for free in January.
