What is Bag twitter
All I'm saying is that Giannis didn't suddenly solve all the deficiencies in his game, but maybe Suns aren't all that good when push comes to shove.
Finals without LeBron aren't real finals anyway. Everything he's done should be multiplied by approximately between 0.5 - 0.75 to get a clearer picture and mathematically equalize the lack of LeBron in there.
When 34/12/6 becomes 25.5/9/4.5 it isn't all that impressive, is it.

i suggest you get used to finals without LeBron
almost every championship there's some "luck" involved, i HATE it when people try to discredit any championship for whatever reason, it's so stupid lol

Bucks stop switching bigs on CP and put Jrue Holiday on CP then win 3 straight as a result.
In game 6 in a close out game they go back to giving him the looks that got them 2-0 down.
Makes sense.....

they're screening him off Paul though and then second-screening Giannis. They're doing exactly what i said they should do. Focus on the Paul-Ayton pick n roll, Ayton unfortunately couldn't eat, so now they're doing the double screen for Paul and he's eating.
2nd quarter:
Paul 5 for 7
Bucks 4 for 20

after 3 quarters: 77-77
no matter what happens, it's been an incredible finals. The games have shown that these two teams are more or less evenly matched

Dude Lebron is finished, he got lucky with the reset last season and facing the overachieving Heat. He is done, Lakers are going to need another superstar to carry James if they are going to win another Championship.
Giannis Finals performance is far better than anything James has done. Didn’t need a super team.

Chris Paul said Giannis expects to miss free throws and Giannis facetimed Steph for a 2 hour free throw shooting session before game 6.

Congrats to CBucks and the people of Wisconsin
Also to Robes who is living the sports fan dream
With this burden taken out, the choker tag removed, Giannis signed for a long time, early 2020s decade is looking very good for the Bucks

I was at the deer district. Drove in 1.5 hours there and 1.5 hours back
Hard to put into words the kind of elation and release everyone felt at the end. Counting down every second till the final whistle. Should have worn ear plugs, that Khris Middleton dagger was absolutely wild. If y'all were watching the broadcast I was out there
I've been watching bucks since 2014 and I'm a big fan of basketball but it's still clearly secondary to footy for me so I'm not emotional in the sense I'm gonna cry tears of joy but obviously hard to put into words how amazing this is, and how awesome it was to share that with an awesome and underrated city/people
And most of all to see us fuckin come through. I did get to see us win the Super Bowl in 2011 (Packers obviously), but since then it's 10 years of disappointment and underachievement. This team is built different. They're so resilient.
Idk if we win next year. I don't care. Giannis deserves it all. Khris deserves it all. Jrue deserves it all.
Bucks are a dumb team Bud isn't good enough yada yada feels good man. Those things have some merit to them don't get me wrong but the Bucks might be a bit dumb and Bud is flawed but we fuckin did it
I'm all in on Bud btw. He fuckin won. And he had a great series overall. And he showed these playoffs a lot of growth. He has flaws but he's shown the ability to adapt and improve. He did it before this season too (this whole season). A LOT of credit has to be given, even if the dude would have lost his job if KD's big toe were a bit smaller
Thanks for the kind words from all of you. Thinking of you Robes. 50 years. This ain't no bandwagon. This ain't a big market. This was the hard road. And it couldn't have happened to a better group of guys. Amazing people, so likeable, giving, and humble. Wish it were the weekend so I could go party haha

Bucks fan since 2000-2001 . I had played NBA live 2001 on PS1 and I liked that nice team built on Cassell,Ray Allen etc
Conference final too. Highest point before this year.
Then years of darkness.
Honestly I didn't expect to see Bucks winning the title a day.
I was almost apprecating this competitiveness of great regular season and uneven play off. It looked like the best this achieveble by Bucks , but after series against Nets .. I've maturated the idea that it could be really our year.
Of course it's nothing comparable with football for me, football is my life and same for my football club, but I don't deny it's great satisfaction this NBA title for me.
For years I've seen Celtic, Lakers , Spurs fans etc but you went on your own road. even though mediocrity looked like natural state of things.
now I remember when at seaside 10 years ago I was with a Bucks shirt (basketball jerseys very useful for going at seaside before you undress) and my friend ' you' re the first Bucks fan I've met in my life '
We were as the sons of a minor God, but today , we are the Kings.

Been too busy to watch any of the 4 am finals games, unfortunately, but happy that the Bucks won and happy that Giannis was so dominant. A city like Milwaukee winning the championship is fantastic in every way.
I'm seeing some people on forums / social media saying that a healthy Nets will walk it next season, but I'm not buying it. Their stars are getting old and who knows if they can stay healthy anyway. Should be another exciting season of NBA basketball coming up.

Ay and btw you'll see I said bucks in six throughout. Of course it's as much a meme to yell as it is a real prediction but I told my buddy and held the view throughout even when we went down 2-0 that we'd win in 6.
Credit to Bud, the team that looked like we had no answers for the Suns (those first two games, esp. Game 1) ground the Suns down into a team that looked like they had no answers for us. Next thing for Bud to do is to not willingly forfeit game 1 of every series. Which we did this playoffs except against the Heat which was a close ass game

Interesting. I of course dont have Curry at 1, but mine isnt too far off beside that. I just move him down to 5 and shift everyone up one and I have Embiid over Lillard.
I dont actually think Giannis is a better player than Kawhi, or even Jokic and Luka tbh, but Kawhi is injured too often and its hard to make an argument against Giannis right now.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Giannis is a walking 30, 10 and 5 though, he has that as well as 2 MVPs, DPOY and now a chip and Finals MVP over Jokic and Doncic. It wasn't even a debate for me. It will be interesting to see though how he progresses and grows as a player from now on because he's basically achieved it all now.
Kawhi has more playoff pedigree on his resume, but like you said he's barely fit these days and Giannis just produced one of the greatest Finals performances, even if Suns and Ayton seemed to get a little worse every passing game.
I'll take Dame and his cold clutchness over Embiid and his clownish personality and injury problems if i had to start my own team tbh.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
As I said, I cant make any logical argument for those 2 (Jokic and Luka) being better than Giannis. But I still think both are better players.
If we did an NBA draft today and even ignoring age, I would pick both over him.
I have to credit what Giannis has just done. But I cant ignore that none of this would have happened if Harden or Kyrie had not been hurt.
Dame is clutch, I like him, but his teams are almost never competitive with good teams in the playoffs and its not like he has no help.
I dont forget that Pelicans series where Holiday pretty much owned him. Swept aside by Denver without Murray (dont hold too much against him for it, but its not impressive reading) and shot under 40% vs the Lakers and the Warriors in back to back sweeps basically (1 token win vs Lakers)
Embiid losses havent been anywhere near as bad and none of them we did he really play bad in either. Plus defensively, he is as good as he is offensively.
Injury a concern which has me put him below Jokic, but still over Dame for me.
