Federico Chiesa
Phenomenal player. Made the jump from Fiorentina to Juve very successfully and even grew as a player in this first season.
13 goals and 11 assists playing half the season on each side of the pitch, including scoring vs Inter, Napoli, Atalanta, 2 vs Milan, and in the derby with Torino, as well as 3 goals in the Porto kncockouts. Last season he put in 11 goals and 9 assists for Fiorentina.
Primarily a left footed RW, but plays both sides as needed.
23 year old, very fast, immense workrate, good dribbling and now also a good finisher.
Only reason we can't call him our player of the season is because Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 32 goals at the age of 36.

Re: Federico Chiesa
He is like the opposite Bernardeschi. That is to say yes, he is very good. He and Ronaldo are the only reason Pirlo has a job.

Re: Federico Chiesa
I rate Chiesa now
It's been several months of legitness
He was humble and hard-working before, was lacking the talent, now he's improved every aspect of his game i used to criticize. Perhaps the only player whose development did not halt this season.

Re: Federico Chiesa
I'm surprised from his season. I expected Kulusevski, and not him. But so far no contest in favor of the Italian player.
I didn't rate Chiesa at Firenze tbh, he looked like inconsistent or just very fast but his quality seemed "hidden", it emerged just at flashes
But he's not just a quality player, he's also very effective. What it was missing in last Florence period
Everyone thought that he had been overpriced, but it isn't now.
It testifies how this Fiorentina is "radioactive" for good players, Vlahovic Castrovilli Milenkovic should go away if they want to become really good

Re: Federico Chiesa
I subscribe and apologize. Like robes, I thought headless chicken for sure. He has outclassed Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa cumulatively and that happened within his first 10 matches
He has a tendency to really miss some chances so I would like to see him be a bit more composed but his energy and work effort is exactly what this team needs
This was our best signing this season and it’s not even close

Definitely gaining a reputation as a true big game player. Has scored some pretty big goals this year. Has been absolutely clutch.

Re: Federico Chiesa
Knew he was the truth since his Fiorentina days. I've mentioned this a shitload of times, but he would've been perfect on the RW for Milan. Can you imagine the qualitative difference between him and Salaemakers? He's right footed, hard working so he could do the tactical role Salad does, but add 10x more individual quality.
I can't remember the last time I was this hurt about missing out on a signing. He would've been perfect ffs.

Re: Federico Chiesa
A dynamo who is obsessed by creating scoring chances. He forces to play faster and it's a good thing. We have forwards who can follow the pace we just have a finishing problem, it comes with confidence and chemistry (2 things Pirlo could never bring to the table)

Re: Federico Chiesa
i rated him since Paulo Sousa played him. I knew he was destined for something important in italian football scene though i didnt expect that to be so soon.
The match that made me sure Chiesa is the real deal was two games - when fiorentina beat roma 7-1 in Coppa italia in which he scored hattrick.
Another game was when Italy beat Spain 3-1 in U21 game and Belgium i think 3-1 too.
this same tournament i knew that Chiesa, Barella, Gianluca Mancini, Zaniolo, Rolando Mandragora is going to be real deal. Federico DiMarco was into who was great but robes doesnt believe me
.
For spain i loved Fabian Ruiz, and Dani Ceballos, and for Belgium Yari Verschaeren.
ever since i had been praying to football god that he signed for milan but unfortunately he had verbal agreement with juventus a year before he joined officially, and pioli (whom he was under regular first team) called him in which Chiesa revealed details about juventus deal.

Re: Federico Chiesa
Rolando Mandragora is a truly unfortunate one, if he can only get his injury and fitness issues off him he could truly be one of the best DM.

Re: Federico Chiesa
I definitely was not part of the brigade hyping up Fede for I saw him as overrated but ever since his tutelage under CR then of course his brilliant Euros I rate him as world class, so much he has improved.
He's literally at his best when his team is under pressure from a top attacking outlet but somehow manages to ease off the pressure of Italia/Juve by driving forward, being a total headache for their midfield and somehow ends up scoring let alone putting the fright into them. And still only 23. Like Barella he thrives under pressure and in top team situations.
He does need to keep his head up more though. It results in his relentless drive but also has him in some odd placements on the field.

Probably my favourite Juve player as well after Dymbito regressed. He is a proper modern winger. Has everything.

Re: Federico Chiesa
Indeed an exciting player, full of strength energy determination n ability. Much like his father who scored loads of goals at his best iirc. Seems a bit too individualistic though, would be good to see if he can improve and turn out to be a real top players in the yrs to come.

Re: Federico Chiesa
Marchisio was never the same after ACL injury. I hope Chiesa who's much younger will heal 100%
We still have a few objectives this season now we are in deep shit, survival mode for top 4 if anything. We rely on Dybala, i wonder who else has the capacity to step up

Re: Federico Chiesa
Came back from injury. Played like 60 minutes vs Napoli, scored a goal. Played half a match vs Roma, assisted. Now ACL injury. Terrible for him.
Derails his career, our season, and Italy's chances for the world cup.

Re: Federico Chiesa
Huge loss as it can't be determined more for Italy or Juve.
I dont care for the Juventus loss but this is at the worst time for Italia where it can make the difference between them going to the World Cup or not.
And since Insigne is the only other attacker up front performing for them I cannot see how this will go well unless Berardi or someone else steps up.

Shame, definitely been Italys n Juves standout player n so young n exciting. Strange one, he just planted his foot awkwardly taking a shot right? Seemed like a nothing injury...

Huge chances he’s finished. Such a shame, he’s wonderful to watch and one of the most brilliant attackers of this generation.
