UCL QF: Real Madrid vs Liverpool

We have drawn Liverpool for the CL quarterfinals.

Its a very fair draw as I believe both teams are evenly matched.

We can't complain tbh

If Benz can't score against their CBs he should just retire. And shame on Kroos and Modric if they can't control this game. Hope Varane only gifts one goal this time....or blesses us with his absence

I like this draw. We cuda gotten worse, I even preferred this to a team like Porto that might close up shop and make things difficult for us on offense. If we can keep a tight defense, I'm kinda confident about this tie....which means if marcelo isnt playing left wing, then he shouldnt play

I think we are well past the point of seeing Marcelo as a LB. If Mendy is Unavailable i am positive Nacho will play as the LB or Lucas

I just read somewhere that Pool will be without VanDijk, Gomez, Henderson and Matip. That's basically all their CBs and their CB back ups

Barring any more injuries during the international break we should have all our players back for this game including Dani. Who am i kidding right? At least 5 starters will provably get injured in the coming weeks

Does anyone have a list of players that'll miss the second leg if they get a yellow in the first leg? All I know is that Ramos is not one of them

The way we play, I think it's a toss-up against anyone from Bayern to Porto. We compete hard but can't dominate anyone.

I like the draw because we're not at a talent disadvantage. So we have a better than decent chance given our experience.

Asensio has low key being playing well the last couple of days. Like I said before this was a good draw for us. Now we need to prevent any away goals

So far I think this has been our best game all season....so far, let's hope we dont act foolish in the second half

Turok has always had an impossible view of Benzema and what he is capable of. Big Ben was quite good yesterday and you'll find most sane Madrid fans with a similar opinion.

Kroos especially... but also overall. Our bench is absolutely awful lol. We have nobody to rotate with.

Militao stepped up big time. Fantastic 3 games from him.

Zidane is just legendary. I said at the beginning of the season that he is actually an excellent tactician and plays with the 90’s Italian mentality. People think pretty football = incredible tactician which isn’t the case. Even pep played ugly football to get through the CL recently.

This is not all Zizou lol, just like it’s not all thanks to the players. Guys like Militao and Nacho stepped up massively. Casemiro and Courtois are amazing, etc… and yes Zidane has made the right decisions too

So you’re disagreeing to be a contrarian, and you do agree that the players today are gassed, second string or being played out of position, or lack quality (our wingers). Got it. Also, odegaard has been playing out of his skin recently so congratulations on yet another garbage prediction.

Worried about our players fitness. Looking at the upcoming fixtures, we're seemingly seeing no good rest period. A game every 3-4 days for the foreseeable future whilst la liga barely hanging on by a thread.

Get the feeling the fatigue will get to us sooner or later.
