I really dont think Lewy needs to go God Mode for Bayern to comfortably see this through.

Totally hedging my bets here by saying anything can happen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset.

With that said, Bayern have the ability, the experience, and the killer instinct to comfortably dominate this tie.

Plus they have the experience of beating them last year.

Surely having Veratti back in this game will be significant here. I dont expect that same level of control Bayern had in the final last time and if that happens, Mbappe and Ney in transition becomes more of a threat. If Veratti can turn out of the pressure and find those 2, Bayern will have alot of difficulties.

Bayern obviously favored and they might win with a bigger gap than the 1 leg final, but I expect them to have more difficulties controlling PGS. I also dont expect PSG to just allow Bayern to enter their half as they did in that final, surely they engage higher on the field.

It wont be easy, but Bayern will Knick it. Enjoyable games.

Yeah, seeing that every forest and meadow team can usually stroll through our midfield and defense at will, every opponent getting their plentiful share of top chances every game, keeping Neymar and Mbappé from shooting us off the park will not be easy.
We'll need to hope to be clinical with our chances, thankfully Poch is no Tuchel when it comes to implementing defense

A fun tie that Bayern will likely win in the end. I have no clue if this PSG is better than last year's as I don't follow Ligue 1 all that much, but this Bayern side have absolutely cruised through this comp. They haven't changed at all. Bad news for PSG.

Veratti's problem is his fitness. He's not able to play back to back high levels games. Gets tired after the hour.

PSG is facing Lille 3 days before Bayern for the game that may decide the title race as well.

Bayern will go through hopefully to face City.

PSG are overall better ( Veratti will play, Florenzi ,Kean and Rafinha are doing good ) but Bayer is also stronger imo. Thiago left and they are doing just fine in that middle + Sané .

I don't know what Hans' opinion is, but based on what I've seen from Bayern this season compared to the last one, they've generally looked more shaky and easier to break down. Still a tough team, but I would've fancied their chances more when they actually won it. Last season's team looked more stable, if not more potent in general.

Tuchel's PSG had good defense? Why didnt I ever feel that watching them? I guess Navas is one, but the others dont really convince defending, but of cos they get so much help from the DMs in front of them I guess? Anyway, if PSG have Neymar and Di Maria back it really would be awesome attack attack, and Bayerns defense push high and arent fast so thats the worry, but apart from that Bayern definitely better I think. Looking forward to Gnabry as well whos come back and should he hit form come the ties Bayern should be fine.

I think both attacks are similarly potent because Bayern has great attacking fullbacks while PSG have Neymar and Mbappe.

The deciding factor will be defense. I think Bayern have a better defense. The side of Kimpembe/Kurzawa is a calamity waiting to happen.

Bayern will win.

Btw, saying that Neymar will be fit for both legs is quite a huge assumption. He may not. Strange to say... it sometimes helps PSG because they become more balanced, direct and contentrated. With Neymar, he dominates the ball too much.

But again, Kimpembe/Kurzawa (or Bernat) will sink PSG.

I wasn't either tbh, but I've been noticing he's been starting a lot of Bayern's recent games. I know Gnabry was out for a few weeks, but when he came back it was Coman who was getting benched instead. Coman wasn't injured was he? Either way, it's a toss-up for me too.

It is, yes, playing time for the wide positions is by now rather evenly divided over the three.
But for the biggest games? I'd pick Gnabry and Coman, we're a stronger unit with them, still, and I have the suspicion Flick will think the same.

Agree Coman deserves to start if hes fit, hes had a really high level season. Sane has kept improving but probably lacking just a bit when it comes to team chemistry. Anyway all three are so damn good, together with Lewand and Muller in the mix, it makes me jealous they are so good
