Sterling scored in the 44th min, Aguero missed a PK on the 45th minute just before half, Chelsea equalized around 65th minute and scored the winner in the 90th minute. The ref also failed to give Sterling a red card, City also had another PK shout around the 88th minute which wasn't awarded which should've been.

Tuchel is a tactical mastermind it seems. His record vs top managers is outstanding. I assume both teams lineups will look substantially different in the final though, especially City's

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Tuchel is certainly a perfectionist in his big games preparation and leaves nothing to chance, Chelsea always seem to get the upper hand at the start of the second half which I believe is prompted by his HT adjustments, and every player including long tenured ones seem to have hit a stride and are playing at their highest level ever for the club, which is partly due to him finding the right tactic for everybody.
At the same time though it just feels like one of those written in the stars seasons where luck is in Chelsea's favour and every potentially bad situation just works out for the best. The Atleti game was a very cagey affair until giroud randomly pulls the rabbit out of his hat, Porto was outplaying Chelsea for large portions of the game but Mount and Chillwell scored solo goals against the run of play, both times against City they had weird lineups and the games were neck and neck and could have easily went the other way. Also worth mentioning that Chelsea got favored in some 50/50 penalties calls against Atleti ManU and now City that would have inevitably changed the outcome of those games.
His record vs top teams is very good but maybe a bit misleading.

Not really lmao. Pep was sandbagging both times. First playing with a double dm with both rodri and fernandinho at the same time and then one single proper midfielder in the whole lineup And even then two Chelsea wins were not a fair representation of the flow of the games.
The final is gonna be a complete different game and City should still be regarded as the comfortable favourites.

You think the final will be different in that Pep will not come up with some stupid shit to surprise his players?

If Rodgers fucks it up again, I hope Moyes finishes in top 4.
Liverpool should suffer for their stupidity in the transfer market and ESL adventure.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Bruno and Salah in the same team would be a dream
Salah in any other team in this season would have had more assists. It is just sad that he feeds Mane and Firmino who are in the worst form of their career.
Typical GL with amnesia, Mahrez has been sleeping whole season and only recently started doing something meaningful. Salah, Ollie Watkins, Antonio, Bamford, Rashford have all better numbers and been more consistent over the whole season.
Hell, even Mane has G+A better than Mahrez dont come with bullshit that Mahrez has played less games, maybe he sucked in training under Pep that is why he did not get played as much.

Saka has carried us for most part of the season, if it wasn't for him we would be in a relegation battle
Martinez has had multiple blunders this season
Bruno and Son only had good first halves of the season
Salah??? lol

There's definitely a lot of recency bias. I expected Gundogan to be on everyone's team. Mahrez didn't even become a starter until like late January. KDB was injured for most of City's 20 game win streak. Grealish was also a name I thought would be on everyone's teams, but since he got injured in February, people have probably forgot about him.
Outside of GL I've seen those who put Foden which made me laugh considering he's only started 14 games lol.

I like this squad.
Only objections would be Ndidi and Watkins.
Ndidi only because he missed a few games too many for me. He has appeared in only 24. Watkins has done well but had that period were he was ice cold in front of goal.
I would say Bamford over Watkins and Saka over Ndidi.
I'd also want to give Meslier a shout though he has made a couple errors here and there.

Tbf to Salah he has carried Liverpool's goalscoring burden on his back considering Mane and Firmino have been complete jokes this season and Jota was injured for large parts.
If he was as unproductive as those two, god knows where Liverpool would be.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Salah is literally the second top scorer, one goal away from top. What is lol about having him? Any Arsenal player being there is lolworthy. Saka being there in the left wing over the likes of Son, Rashford, Grealish is nonsense mate.
@Franchise yea debated a bit over Bamford or Watkins. Think you're right. Watkins being so clutch against big teams is why I picked him.

sure Salah might have the goals to show for, but i picked my team based on impact, consistency of performance level and who has impressed the most.

If Saka 'carried Arsenal', he's obviously not very strong
9th place
As @M99 said, gtfo with Saka
starter in the team of the season, delusional
