Terrible appointment
PSG need to get a world class coach, enough of these B+ guys
Allegri, Wenger, someone who is 5 stars

Re: Mauricio Pochettino - new coach of PSG
Wow Allegri overlooked yet again
Poch went from having the phone in his hand waiting for the Perez phonecall to accepting whatever offer came along
Will probably be sacked in a season
And lol at Tuchel getting sacked now. Terrible timing

I thought Tuchel was doing fine? Did not expect this one bit.

Can't wait. He's going to win the CL with PSG, calling it now.
I am the world's biggest PSG fan. Does anyone know where I can catch Ligue 1???!?!?!

Immaculate faith he will succeed in Paris. Followed Poch since his Espanyol and he builds a team painfully slow but thinks for the long term.
Will have the resources he needs to succeed as well.

Its quite contradictory though isn't it. Sacking a manager midseason I would think they want instant impact and not long term, patient construction.

I don't think Tuchel is getting sacked right now. He topped the CL group and only a couple of points away from the top of Ligue Zzz.
Having said that, should he not win CL, he's getting a deserved sack.
As much as I love Pochettino, I hate to see him in QSG.

Any coach that joins a club in which the only qualifier for success is "did he win the CL?" is going to fail.

Since when is 2020 Wenger rated higher than Pochettino? Even Allegri I still think is overrated, he’s a good choice to steady a ship and meet expectations but he has never once in his career dramatically improved a team the way Poch did at Spurs.

Poche has history with PSG besides being a good manager... this was also done with an eye on Messi btw.

Its official.... so Mehssi to PSG then? Reunited with Neymar and they can afford his wages, makes sense.

Then a year later, Ronaldo, who will have his contract with Juve expired by then, will join them as well to form the mighty MMNC - The four-tined pitchfork from hell.
Paris will be feared, PSG will be worshiped and Voltaire would be proud. And their frontline will have a combined goal tally of 3 penalties and two headers in the CL, and PSG will finally win their much-awaited CL in the dying minutes before having their winning goal ruled out by VAR and ultimately lose the CL on penalties due to a Messi miss.
Naturally, Poch is disappointed:

And of course The Bald Fraud is happy since he thrives on Schadenfreude:
The entire PSG fanbase is distraught and can't even stand up to leave the stadium:

While their accountants sit down to calculate the ginormous bonuses of MMNC for reaching the final and lose the track of time:

Re: Mauricio Pochettino - new coach of PSG
Tuchel barely created success in PSG and is seen poorly in the eyes of Paris fans.
Pochettino is the definition of a long-term builder but with the expectations of their owners Im not sure how much patience they will have for his odd stumbles he is capable of here and there.
I see him as a success here even if it isn't the ideal club for him.

Are there seriously people who think he was the problem? Wtf. He's the reason they made it to the CL all these years with like no financial support. Who cares if he didn't win the Carabao cup? Making it to the CL against teams who spend hundreds of millions each summer is more impressive.

Re: Mauricio Pochettino - new coach of PSG
Tottenham signed Heung Min Son for peanuts, Kane also came up through the academy, if I’m not mistaken. I could've told you how good Son was before he was signed. I’m actually pretty sure I did, but it wasn’t a popular opinion on here at the time. he’s still performing under Mourinho, despite not being a player you’d typically associate with the Portuguese. Getting these low-risk, high reward transfer right, matters more now than ever before.
Sometimes, the manager actually isn’t the be all, end all of results. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the biggest, richest clubs are at the top of the table every season, even if they’re managed by the Mark Hughes.. or the Ole’s of football, if you will. Managers can make a difference, but the players always make the difference.

Visit the awful spurs subreddit. As usual Mou being the poison pill pos that he is, those who support him often have to tear down the previous manager to do so. To be sure, Poch is still loved there, but the shit I see, there is a reason I don't visit it with any regularity.
Man made a CL final and finished top 4 year after year. Yeah you can talk about how they lost a caraboo cup final and CL final, but there is a large contingent who are convinced that Mou had transformed "the mentality" of the players with his "cut throat" style of winning.
That's being found out now and that feeling isn't as strong as it was.
Idk, maybe here I am thinking turning an underachieving Spurs team who weren't winning shit before, losing to all the top 6 sides, and finishing outside of CL places to a team that consistently made the CL and RO16 and onwards was a team that *did* have a remarkable change in mentality.
