Which two team will progress ?

I feel for ya'll Juve fans, not used to this at all, but I guess being so ambitious with the manager changes, it was also a gamble and will take time.
Since 2017 Juve has fake ambition. The essence of the club is changing. It's all about image, what will give us more likes on social media. Powder to the eyes.
Allegri was available after a 1 year break. He was the obvious choice. Yet we took someone who had zero experience. How else can we explain that ?
We might have to call him back soon if Pirlo doesn't pull it together
Not sure whether back to Allegri is the best idea now, for all the parties involved.
Just get Pochettino in and be done with it. Back to winning the league easily, and after a while surely a team to be back in contention for CL.

Should be up by a few more from Morata and Ronaldo. Dybala would do well in this game, hope he comes on.

Is it safe to say Morata has been Juve's best player this season so far?

Absolutely
And Danilo the most improved.
Shambolic defending from Ferencvaros though. Poor from their GK. Dybala gifted two goals by their GK.

Ronaldo has been better. Morata has played more since Ronaldo has had to deal with covid so its close, but just in terms of level and impact in the games they could play, Ronaldo.

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group G
I cannot stress how wrong Morata has proven all of us who heckled this move and how good he has been for Juventus.
It was obvious all along what he is, and why he performed his best at Juventus.
Morata as we know is known as a mental midget and his confidence is quite volatile but at Juve he quoted just today how wanted he feels, and Ive only seen a very confident striker who leads the line well and scores when it matters. And very skilfully so.
CR came to Juve for the same reason and seems to be thriving based on his body language or words off pitch as this effect seems to be a trend from players going into Torino.

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group G
The main thing Morata is demonstrating is his maturity. In his first spell, you could tell he was a young kid who struggled to be consistent and sulked but even then he was a difference maker in the big moments
Then, he did not take an easy road by any means, and in a market devoid of #9s, the big move to Chelsea just did not work out and he could not live up to the expectations of a big money striker
Now, he's back in his element and he is playing probably the best I've ever seen from him. It's a great environment for him to shine in because he is surrounded by great attacking threats in Ronaldo and Dybala with very capable wing play from Chiesa and Cuadrado, with Ramsey and Kulusevski also featuring quite well. He doesn't have to be the main option and he's equally comfortable facilitating
Honestly, he should have more goals and we know this. So many narrow offsides and a couple chances that he could have converted (yesterday he surely could've scored but tried to assist Ronaldo)
Humble and hardworking Morata, it is the most balanced our attack has looked since we had Nedved, Del Piero, Trezeguet and Camoranesi.
It's the defence and more importantly, the midfield that now needs to become more stable

Morata hasn't proven anyone wrong yet. He's a streaky player and right now he's riding a hot streak, helped by the fact that Juve are a very offensive team and that the other two guys couldn't play too much.
And he still can't stay onside

What a bad match. The team played like they couldn't be bothered and the win was already secured for a half, and then everything rushed for the second half. Everything to forget in this match except for the goals by Ronaldo and Morata who can't stop scoring.
Nice to qualify with two matches to spare at least!

I have not seen the game but something tells me we played better without the dead weight in Pique, Busquets, Roberto and Messi. They're way past their due date.

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group G
Pirlo will rotate a few players today since we are already qualified and the schedule is crazy. Szczesny, De Ligt, Rabiot, Dybala look like they will sit it out. The rumored lineup is:
Buffon, Alex Sandro, Danilo, Bonucci, Cuadrado, Chiesa, Arthur, McKennie, Ronaldo, Morata
2 strikers, 2 wingers, 2 fullbacks, 1 CB. Pirlo

Rotation or not I do hope you have enough players to field an 11, not just a 10

Can see Juventus being schooled again tonight unless Pirlo learned from his mistakes but one thing is for certain Ronaldo will be a man possessed tonight given he has been aching to go against Barça and that for me will be where my eyes will be on.
Cannot see Juve individually making a difference beyond him himself.

In the middle of a crisis, first big CL match of a manager, and you still got saved by offsides.
Pirlo has his side undefeated in the league, first manager ever to ever do so in his first 10 matches in Serie A. Meanwhile you are in midtable

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group G
Still doesnt change the fact that our first game vs Juve was our easiest this season p4p
I've seen most of the games and it was the only one we dominated through & through. On par with Ferencvaros which is 3rd leauge tier.
And we are also in the middle of a crisis w a new coach.

Ronaldo is back though.
My money, if I had any left, would be on Juve tonight.
But my online betting site account is empty and I'm not paying in.
