My first prayer, no awkward travels. Check
My next prayer, some exciting teams. Check
I'm fucking loving this.
Will be really, really, sad if fans aren't able to watch some rollicking football.

You serious?
Atalanta scored 98 goals in Serie A last year.
No idea where you are coming from.

You're underestimating Olympiacos but we'll see.

Pedram my man you always make sense but you got it wrong here.
City's group really is the easiest and you're overrating their opposition.
I will make it known again how lucky City get with their annual CL groups.

They 've just won 1-4 away against Lazio (another team qualified in CL)
A very organized team with big work rate but also quality. And important depth for the attack
Absolutely dominant in Serie A. Last year 3rd to just -5 from Juve and -4 from Inter . And their team's even inproved this year for me...

How good has Ajax been recently? They lost so many of their stars was wondering if they've declined as a result?

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group D
yes they have lost so many stars, they are in transition phase atm, though some of other stars that remains are adapting also. Neres is back after long term injury, quincy promes as well, tadic is playing more target role and lisandro martinez was playing defense midfield which i quite didnt liek but he moved to CB or atleast pre season as far as i know.
i haven't been following ajax as much i would like but again new players coming but at the same time there are some old guards help ajax settle until the newcomers catch up i think.
huntelaar is still there, Tagliafico, skeletenburg, tadic is there... dunno what happened to babel he was there i saw in instagram a while ago. blind i am worried about because he had a another health scare with his battery for heart switching off or something like that he recovered but i think he should put himself first ahead of football.
there are some plaeyrs like Noa lang, Lassina Traoré Sontje Hansen, kudus, but they will need time. they are doing alright in the league atm though.
as for this group, for Ajax its not impossible, its doable Midtjylland have zero idea how they are doing or what their form or capabilities they have but atalanta is arguably best team in serie a atm... their team has almost no weakness and even more they brought some quality depth.
Ajax has to beat Midtjylland and Atalanta because liverpool is at different planet atm - not impossible for ajax

let's see if this match lives up to its hype. In away group games, we suck under Klopp

Edit: just realised this game is tomorrow

who cares, this give will lads massive lift in absence of VanDjik. Instead of 4-3, it is 1-0 for Liverpool. Very huge result in terms of next 6-8 months till VanDjik is back.

I wasn't able to watch yesterdays match so can't comment on that but overall our team isn't great this season. Overmars actually called this season a "european gap year" a few weeks ago. I don't really think we'll make it past the group stage.
We lack a proper top striker but our midfield is the biggest problem imo and I don't think the problems started this season but rather last year when we sold de Jong (and de Ligt) and didn't manage to replace him properly. You could say the same about de Ligt but I don't think our defense is our main issue.
This summer we sold van de Beek but we actually brought in a new great midfielder in Kudus and I think Antony is an amazing replacement for Ziyech. Of course losing them still hurts but we did a very good job of replacing them. Of course the problem is that maintaining the situation wasn't good enough.

there are ways in Football that Liverpool's front three almost enslave the opposition defenders and nothing more is required to do after that

Actually watched the game and though Ajax werent that bad, I mean Liverpool were a bit weakened, having to play Fabiano at CB and Jones in MF, whom I have no idea about but looked decent enough. Ajax's play are always nice to watch, but they always just seems to lack a bit physically and the star goal scorer to get the goals?
