Good group IMO. Home games of Salzburg and Lokomotiv will determine a lot.

that confidence and to have that against Atletico, and actually score 4, good start for Bayern in their defence of CL title.

I would imagine "riding Bayern's D" is a lot less humiliating than confidently and boldly claiming that Pathético would give them a reality check in a public forum, only to watch them later get pulverized to smithereens.

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group A
as if Atletico has never beaten Bayern? Just in 2016-17 they kncoked bayern out of the UCL.
- Gimenez missing
- Suarez missed 3 sitters
- Felix goal was wrongly disallowed.
- Last two goals were scored when Atletico were full on attacking mode, leaving tons of space behind
- Bayern was home.
See you in Calderon

U could see that coming though even last season, Bayern are so good and under Flick they have managed to keep their hunger and level, so if they continue like this nobody can come close to them this season, they will win everything again.
Strange though Sane playing with his phone in the stands during the game lol, small thing but u would expect him to be more attentive to the game?

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group A
I’m not hating, but my opinion on Bayern when I compare them to past, great sides, is that they don’t look notably exceptional, but they seem very stable in every joint of their team.
I’ve seen a lot of praise for their supposedly incredible performance level lately, but what I see is a mix of young and experienced players that perform consistently, rather than exceptionally.
And that’s typically how you’d describe a winning team. It just makes me wonder where these superlatives are coming from. Granted, I don’t watch them consistently. Maybe I’ve missed something.

Which superlatives?
Let's be honest, every of the other big teams would get much more hype had they gone on a winning streak like ours

That may be true. Well, maybe it's just me, but usually when I watch Bayern play, I'm left with the impression that they're more about playing at an even performance level, regardless of the opposing team, as opposed to displaying supremacy in their performance level. And that in itself is a typical sign of a champion.
The most typical description of Bayern that I've seen recently is "the strongest team in the world, by far" - both in international comment sections, as well as in comment sections for the biggest newspaper here. I've seen it so frequently since this seasons started. They may actually be right in that claim itself, but I don't quite see the dominant displays that I associate with such boastful descriptions. Bayern look strong, but in a different sense than Klopp's prime Liverpool, if that makes any sense.
I don't think they're quite unbeatable, but with such a sustainable level of performance, they look like safe bets for any title. Consistency is usually what wins you titles, and that's what Bayern look like to me - a strong, consistent side, not necessarily a boastfully, dominant one.
That may sound like an odd claim, considering you recently trounced Atletico Madrid, and have been scoring left and right in the league, but Bayern strike me as the complete opposite to Dortmund, who tend to either look like a dominant, cohesive, attacking force, or a horrible mess that can't string three passes together, and leak goals at the back. Bayern just look like it's business as usual. Their performance level seems to fluctuate very little, based on what I've seen from them in recent time.

Good for them, it's what a club of this standing must aim for.

Yeah, like I said, that's a typical sign of a champion. I don't know if I necessarily agree with Barcalearning's premature claim that they'll win everything again, and no one comes close to them, though. You want to bet on the stable horses, but that doesn't mean that they'll win every single time.

Re: Champions League 2020/21 | Group A
Bayern probably dont have the biggest stars, but they have enough and I think overall they are the hungriest team and well coached one with a top manager, which altogether elevates the team to perform at their best and are able to sustain it consistently. Even their defense arent great in the CB u feel but they make up for that with their whole team pressing and defending for example.
Football as well know apart from talent is mentality, team balance, tactics, etc., which I think they excel at compared with most teams atm, apart from prolly Liverpool. Of course the decline and stagnation of some of the other top teams also means Bayern stand out even more.

Penalty robbed from us by VAR based on an inexplicable offside which must have occurred like 1 minute before the foul
have not seen any replay
Lokomotive equalize, deservedly must be said
