Yes. Despite the shaky start, we have an exciting young team that will only get better. We are too far back now. Had we been 5,6 points back, with Fati coming back; I would not discount us mounting a challenge for the title.

Full credit to Koeman who has done an outstanding job inspite of the circus and all the negative news surrounding the club. His prior managerial career has been underwhelming to say the least. But, he has done exceptionally well under really trying circumstances.

Next up are the Supercopa and the Copa Del Rey, aka the nobody cares Cups. Hope Koeman rests the entire first team for both. The likes of FDJ, Dest, Pedri, Dembele have played a lot over the past couple of months. The entire first 11 should miss the 2 matches. Our stupid Copa obsession has cost us 2 CL's (atleast partly because we went all in for the treble). Lets hope it does not cost us a 4th place. Play the second team, likes of Trincao, Puig etc. No need to risk the first team.

And predictably we have gone with a full squad. At the very least, we could have given rest to Dembele, Dest and FDJ.

This is not a high performing team that the entire squad should be given rest. Just a few weeks ago it had been lurking in the mid table. all the players had been under performing. This team no matter how much rests are given will not win a thing this season. We just need to ensure UCL spot and we are lucky that la liga is not as competitive as EPL. so no worries with UCL spot too.

Tbf his current run of game has helped him and u can see hes slowly building his game up more and more, and this game he ran so much and in ET I think it was he crammed and then continued till the end? A while ago I was about to give up on him. Hes still got a lot to improve in terms of his overall game, but Im not giving up on him yet

And then play an injured guy. Guy who doesnt run when he is 100% fit. Imagine the movement when said guy is half fit.
Only positive from a win would have been the youngsters getting a taste of silverware.
Instead what we have is a dead tired team which should have been rested for the league.
