Summed up perfectly. How I felt about the Carling Cup victory under Dalglish until well......the semi vs City and the final that we won.

The number of name it has acquired over the years sums up it's importance in football landscape.

Considering UEFA has relegated it to the third-tire of its tournament hierarchy, FA, if they have the senses, must consider scrapping it.

I think FA cup is more than enough.
But I would not mind at all if we win this Carbao toy again. If there are games like against Arsenal on Thursday, I would enjoy it.

They should simply put an age cap - make it an U23 tournament or something for teams in the first division. hmm
