He was responsible for a decisive goal conceded in the loss against Leverkusen last week too

the points he costs them on his own each season must be in the double digits

Since Haaland is scoring like prime Ronaldo, I went on Google to see who's the top scorer in Germany expecting him to be the one. To my surprise, it was Lewa with 22 goals in 16 games.

So my question is, what the fuck are they feeding him?!

I think I mentioned this before. His timing for jumping on headers is often awkward, for some reason. I find it odd since his timing for everything else is usually spot on.

Can’t believe they lost this match 2-4. Would be nice if they can get a more permanent coach sooner, rather than later.

Yes, it makes the league winner so much more unpredictable.

Yeah the "really" was basically an affirmative reply to your earlier mentioning it.

'Indeed' would have been the correct English term to use in that vein I think, in German both meanings are "wirklich" that's why...

I still don't understand why they sacked Favre. They lost a few matches just before the turn of the year, but for the most part, they were doing well, he was utilizing the youngsters as well as you can expect from the manager of an ambitious club, and those youngsters were all developing well. Even if I assume that they could do better than him, sacking him in december makes no sense to me.

It's not unusual with lanky strikers. Peter Crouch despite his height wasn't great at jumping on headers. Same with Zigic. But at least Haaland is young and can improve on it. Although i think it's just due to their physical limitations.

Interesting to see a struggling Schalke (#16, £195.4 m) and a midtable Eintracht Frankfurt (#20, £152.6 m) making the The Deloitte Football Money League while likes of Leipzig and Leverkusen missing out.

I know it’s the 2019/20 figures and the money for Timo Werner and Kai Havertz sales haven’t been factored in. Still it’s surprising, specially considering Leipzig (CL) and Leverkusen (EL) played in Europe as well.

Leipzig have a talent factory in RB Salzburg, which is why they can get in form prospects like, Dominik Szoboszlai for peanuts. I think they got him for €20m or so.

I’m surprised to see Sørloth in the starting lineup for once. In a relatively big match, as well. That Korean guy from Salzburg never seems to play, though.

Sorloth started the other week and Leipzig lost to Mainz so..

Hwang seems to have had more serious CoVid trouble than other athletes that had it, from what I read. It seems to have hit him quite hard.

Ah. I should probably start watching them again then. Gotta keep up with Sørloth’s progress. Poulsen must be injured or something. I see he played in a two striker formation next to Emil Forsberg against Mainz ffs Laughing

Shame to hear about Hwang. I liked what I saw from him at RB Salzburg.
