Slight deflection, but the way Bayern discussed the plan and executed that freekick Very Happy What a team, u clearly see they are a real team with deep understanding with each other.

They seem pretty open today though, Dortmund getting quite many chances.

Hans whats been the problem lately I havent watch them last few games, commentator kept saying 6-2 mid week was a fraud? Razz I imagine less control due to no Thiago right? The RB not as good as Pavard?

Kimmich looks to be majorly injured, so it will be Tolisso and Groeztka, do u feel confident with that midfield?

Always glad to watch Reus play, he kept getting injuries when hes on top form which is a shame.

Bayern my understanding is they are not great defensively but rely a lot on pressing to defend basically. Alaba/Sule/Boateng all dont really feel they are ever great at defending Razz Although Hernanfez is a beast.

goddamnit Kimmich looks to have hurt his knee bad trying to foul Haaland

1-1 is probably a fair result at HT, I'm not happy with Gnabry today

I'm not happy to see him get injured, at all, but I couldn't help but think that it was a display of instant karma, when I saw it happen Razz

Oh damn, that was actually a really, technically poor pass by Haaland. Should've been a clear goal chance.

and Bayern score. 2-1. Fantastic header by Lewa. God awful marking by the much taller, Hummels Laughing

This game is also showing how raw Haaland is, hes all power speed and shooting, but no technique whatsoever to be considered elite level player. He needs to develop his game a lot as he ages when his physique wont be at top notch.

He has great technique, normally. This game has been an odd one for him in that regard. Even his shooting has been really poor. Would've expected him to put at least 3 of those chances in the back of the net under normal circumstances. He should've had an assist as well, but it doesn't seem to be his day. Both him and Sancho could've easily been substituted in this match.

Poor control by Haaland again, which leads to Bayern countering, with an exquisite finish by Sané at the end of it. This is probably game over for Dortmund. Worst match I've ever seen from Haaland.

Ok, Definitely been too rash in this game for Haaland Dortmund in general, will see more how he develops to judge...

Now Sane, with another weird shot and goal, Bayern goals all bit lucky today, but definitely another showing that they are a far better team than Dortmund even if weakened.

He’s been off form for a while now, to be fair to him, but I agree with you that he’s not a 120m player.

He’s a quite fast, very talented dribbler, with great ball control and a good ability to get into attacking positions. He also occasionally shows glimpses of exceptional playmaking ability. Those are all sought after qualities -especially the playmaking talent.

He’s a bit of an enigmatic player. He’s at his best when he shows great composure and decision-making, but he’s also prone to doing his best impression of a teenage, Cristiano Ronaldo by basically playing as if he thinks he’s a one man army. After watching him regularly for quite a while now, I don’t think he quite lives up to the recent hype, but he’s a relatively young player with high potential.

It could also very much be his head is turned as he was suppose to join United but Woodward was being Woodward.

I wouldn't say he's that fast looks to have decent pace behind him but not Sane/Mbappe/Walker/CR7 level pace.

Yeah that's true the quality he has are quite sought after but I think there are a few players who have that much cheaper. City got Torres for 20m who imo has a similar ceiling to Sancho or Oyarzabal at RSO is around 60-80M, Pulsic has a similar ceiling and went for cheaper same as Sane who went for 50m and Ziyech for like 40-50m.

I don’t rate Oyarzabal all that highly, personally, but I guess Sancho has similar qualities as Pulisic. Pulisic doesn’t have his playmaking ability, though. I think Sancho’s main flaw is that he performs best when he excels at playmaking and driving the ball forward. However, it’s clear that he wants to be a goalscorer.

He’s scored a lot of goals for Dortmund, so when I started watching them, I expected him to be a clinical goalscorer, but his long-shots hardly ever hit the target, and he mostly racks up goals by playing out of position and purely focusing on goalscoring from inside the box.

I don’t know why the coach hasn’t confronted him about this, because it’s detrimental to the team when he becomes goal horny against teams that they’re struggling to create chances against. There are two versions of Sancho - one that’s tidy in possession and hardly puts a foot wrong, and one that constantly wastes possession, likes to shoot from distance, and he takes on more players than he can handle. It sometimes seems like he doesn’t have a clear role in the team.

I hope Moukoko will get his debut soon. The staff at Dortmund seem to believe the German media are putting too much pressure on him, so I don’t suppose he’ll get an early debut against Hertha today, but I look forward to seeing what he can do.

Exquisite shot from outside the box, into the top right corner by Hertha’s Cunha. Dortmund have created nothing. 1-0 Hertha Berlin.

3-1 Haaland. And 4-1 Guerreiro. Game over, I guess.

5-2. Quadruple for Haaland. Hertha scores from the penalty spot.

I suppose this would've been a good confidence booster for Haaland, following his poor performance in the last match against Bayern. Then again, I'm not sure if he needs it after having just won the Golden Boy award.

Moukoko had his debut. He didn't score, but he showed good movement. Seems like a perfect fit for Dortmund.
