and yet Steph didn't get it in 2017 when he really should've. It's exactly the same situation, there was a stat showing that playoffs that out of all our players Steph boosted our defensive rating the most, i even posted it here i remember. Now obviously Steph is nowhere near being the centrepiece on defense, but the system we played made it easier for everyone else to know what to do on court when he was on.

But yea, LeBron will most likely win it

Steph was clearly the playoffs MVP, which I think they should add or replace with FMVP. Kevin Durant had so much iso-shit going combined with media narrative that he somehow was better than LeBron now.

I actually think Davis is the playoffs MVP, but only because we haven't been tested enough for LeBron to go all out yet. Davis on the other hand has had something to prove all playoffs and he's got a signature moment (buzzer beater 3).

The Streets will never forget they really gave it to Iggy in 2015 just because he switched onto LeBron. And then they gave it to KD in 2017 & 2018 just because he pulled up on LeBron from 3 in clutch time like he isn't comfortably capable of doing that.

Davis still played 33 minutes and becane invisible defensively after the 4th foul, no excuse for that kind of output...5 boards as the biggest most athletic man on the floor is unforgivable

I don’t give that much a shit about his rebounding when we win that battle handily. His offensive intensity was just lacking and 15 points is not good enough. He let the fouls get him down. He feeds off his defense and foul trouble affects him all over.

That said it’s only unforgivable if he doesn’t show up tomorrow
