For every good play Arsenal put together, they have to make a mistake of equivalent value.

Spurs will rip them on Sunday if they don't cut that shit out. Imagine giving Son/Kane the opportunities Luiz and Odegaard have given to Olympiakos.

It's frustrating since Olympiakos really haven't done anything but could have been level at half-time.

Like clockwork

Leno sucks at playing out. Makes the wrong pass too many times and puts his team in trouble.

Elneny only scores bangers.

4 goals his whole Arsenal career and 3 have been outside the box.

New signing from Lille last summer. Brazillian, left-footed centre back, with a tendency to go up attackers' backsides at every opportunity.

Perfect game from us at home to Shakhtar. 3-0 win. Good goal margin and a cleansheet to take east to Ukraine.

Almost seems like an excellent setup for a classic Roma-induced implosion and elimination in the 2nd leg hmm

I'm starting to see why Stoke used to resort to HOOOOOOOOFING the fucking ball into the stands whenever a player got slightly close to them. Sure, it's pig ugly football, but my God, it kept them in the Premier League for a decade

Saw the extended highlights of Shakhtar & Roma and Roma put an absolute clinic. Huge win for Fonseca against his former club.

El Shaarawy who was miserable in China like most players got his first goal back and it was wonderful. Arguably their man of the match.

Should definitely be included in the Euro squad for Italia.

Mourinho is done but even in his decline he's been able to win this cup under United .. then a list of players who've got a CL final two years ago, Son, Lucas, Kane who is unplayable in this cup if fit .... Are they the favorites ?

Dinamo Zagreb v Tottenham team news

Jose Mourinho has made seven changes from the side that lost to Arsenal on Sunday, with Gareth Bale among those left out. Spurs are also without the suspended Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is suspended and the injured Son. Dele Alli starts, as does our new favourite superhero, Rabonaman.

Dinamo Zagreb (4-3-3) Livakovic, Ristovski, Lauritsen, Theophile-Catherine, Franjic; Majer, Jakic, Ademi; Ivanusec, Petkovic, Orsic.
Substitutes: Zagorac, Josipovic, Gavranovic, Cabraja, Kastrati, Leovac, Tolic, Burton, J Misic, Stojanovic, Peric, Atiemwen.

Tottenham Hotspur (4-2-3-1) Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Winks; Lamela, Alli, Lucas Moura; Kane.
Substitutes: Hart, Doherty, Reguilon, Alderweireld, Bale, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Tanganga, Ndombele, Carlos Vinicius, Scarlett, Lavinier.

Referee Davide Massa (Italy)

-----------------------------

Arsenal v Olympiakos team news

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was left out of the north London derby on Sunday, returns for Arsenal. Bukayo Saka is out with a hamstring injury, so Nicolas Pepe starts.

It looks like Mikel Arteta has switched from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 - although really, if we’re being consistent, we should call it 4-3-2-1. It’s the pentagon shape, basically, with three central midfielders, two wide forwards and a striker. Either that or Dani Ceballos is playing as the No10 in a 4-2-3-1, in which case you can ignore this waffle. Might want to ignore it anyway.

Arsenal (4-3-3) Leno; Bellerin, David Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney; Ceballos, Elneny, Xhaka; Pepe, Aubameyang, Smith Rowe.
Substitutes: Ryan, Okwonko, Lacazette, Odegaard, Holding, Cedric, Partey, Chambers, Pablo Mari, Nelson, Nketiah, Martinelli.

Olympiakos (3-4-3) Jose Sa; Papastathopoulos, Ba, Holebas; Androutsos, M’Vila, Camara, Reabciuk; Masouras, El-Arabi, Fortounis.
Substitutes: Karargyris, Tzolakis, Bouchalakis, Vrousai, Drager, Bruma, Lala, Sourlis, Randjelovic.

Referee Carlos del Cerro Grande (Spain)

he's been impressive! I really love the set up with him in the middle, and Emile Smith Rowe on the left. They're two different players. ESR smarter, quicker with ball control and short passes (qualties of the modern day inverted winger/attacking midfielder like the likes of Bernardo Silva) he is also built sturdier and more athletic. Odegaard seems to have more deeper midfield qualities like long ball vision, timing his runs and finding open spaces in the midfield area.
If Odegaard gets injured or needs rest we can always put ESR back in the middle.

It's still early day so i hope there is not a drop off in his performances. But i hope we can get him permanently. I really do!

what do you think about cashing in on him this summer if his performances doesn't improve towards the end of the season. Him, Laca and Bellerin. That's about 70-80mil in sales.

Rebuild with depth around this:
Martinelli
Emile ---- Odegaard ---- Saka

i love Auba, he has been our most prolific goals-to-games striker in club history, but if his ass performances continue, i couldn't be bothered really with that attitude. Tired of +30-aged big name players coming to our club and settling for a huge payday and nice life in London. We're not an elite club anymore, so i do not care for big name players. Give me Hale End, whatever hardworking, talented players we can get our hands on and good management, and i'll tune in with happiness every single weekend.

Our line-up

Unless we defend and concede no goal, this is over for us.

Because not a chance we are scoring.

If Pioli sets up defensive I will lose it.

Made no sense to even start this team. At least the kids would have tried harder. Martinelli looked so good when he came on.
