It started out well.. then got very shaky quickly when Neymar would miss games to go to parties etc... Mbappe has a big ego; but he's the consummate professional and wants to win. Then they patched things up and became friends again.

I wouldn't be surprised that Mbappe was angry that Neymar showed up fat to start the season. Despite all the Madrid and PSG saga, Mbappe showed up early (despite Euro), in shape and has played every game.

This was never going to work IMO. Two completely different types of people.

The fat thing is new. First time. He was never fat before…. But partied too much.

Maybe it’s Covid related because of restrictions so he just stayed home and ate. Who knows.

They won't get that opportunity. Pep will bring them into reality, tearing them apart tonight. I can see that happening after what City did to Chelsea last game. current PSG is worse than Chelsea

Yea Man C clearly are the favourites... its just the group stage n I guess its ok for PSG to lose, as long as avoid a drubbing and the players need to put in the effort and show a bit of improvement n no more totally disjointed showing... Man C have weaknesses though, n MNM are bound to get chances, so also will depend on what form MNM will show up in.

They should have put the game to bed in the first half. It could've been 3-0. The front three's combinations in small spaces were unreal at times. They just lacked finishing. Then they shut off.

That being said, I don't understand why Poch keeps trying to play a 4-2-3-1. It's never going to work when the front 3 are forwards who are lazy with one of them being almost useless off the ball. Hell, even Di Maria wasn't tracking back today either. This 4-2-0-4 experiment needs to end.

At the parties ok, I mean it's parties, but I still can't really imagine a high profile professional player like him would do much more than drink, maybe some select prescription drugs and maybe a line of coke or two at certain occasion.. there's too much, money, career, identity, riding on the doping tests, isn't there?
Neymar IS a professional top footballer, after all, he still comes to training everyday and runs and sprints 90 minutes twice a week.

Being an alcoholic though, especially with his apparent daddy issues, booze to fill the hole in his heart and drown away the frustration and resentment, I can see that
