Re: FIFA 21

Let’s be honest fifa just mess with the ratings so we players start complaining about the game and give them more publicity... i ain’t with this sh*t. I know what i do

Re: FIFA 21
Acknowledges what EA does to provoke players speaking on them for publicity and says he won't give them that.
Literally writes two butthurt whole tweets unironically serving their purpose.
Lukaku proving he's as bright off pitch as he is on.

Re: FIFA 21
EA gives wrong ratings sometimes because they don't watch every match of every league
As Arq pointed out Lukaku's post is very ironic. And does Fifa even need publicity in 2020 ? Also and most importantly i check his FUT card and it's quite accurate, nothing to complain for, he has 84 sprint speed 77 accel 95 strength, sums up well his running

Re: FIFA 21
lmao they're so afraid they won't release a demo
We aren't releasing a demo for FIFA 21.
— EA SPORTS FIFA (@EASPORTSFIFA) September 21, 2020
Instead we've made the decision to focus our development team's time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles.
We look forward to EA PLAY members jumping in 10 days from now and launching the game Oct 9.

Re: FIFA 21
It could mean that they don't have faith in their product. It could also mean that they decided not to create a demo because they were pressed for time and thus decided not to add it to their workload. It's been a difficult year for many businesses, I wouldn't be surprised if things didn't go as smoothly as they are used to at EA. I won't buy this game on day one, anyway.

Re: FIFA 21
EA Sports and workload? They reskin the same game every year, there is hardly any work load involved in making FIFA these days
Still day 1 for me. That's cause I got nothing better to do.

Well, they do release a new game in the series, every single year. Creating a demo may not be the most difficult task in the world, but it requires time and resources, like everything else. I'm not familiar with how Covid has impacted their developers, but is a possible explanation as to why they're scrapping the demo this year.
Yes, they do recycle a lot of their assets, but I doubt they're so simple and effortless to develop that they could churn them out every few months if they wanted to.

Re: FIFA 21
Well I won't pretend like I know how long it will cost to put out a demo, but if Indie/single developers can create demoes for their games on PC, I cannot imagine how a billion dollar company can't. Especially as the demo would be for a current-generation game, so most of the assets from the previous year could be reused.
Re: FIFA 21
Yeah, but indie developers set their own deadlines. Companies/publishers like, EA, Ubisoft and Activision have a tendency to set unrealistic deadlines for their developers, which is why their games are sometimes released in an unfinished, unpolished state. Factor in the pandemic, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they are behind schedule this year.

Re: FIFA 21
I just can't imagine EA not being able to hire 2 people full time for a month to sort out a demo. Sorry, just can't buy it.
Re: FIFA 21
Played it early through EA Play trial.
I don't think EA have ever been this shameful in the history of FIFA. The game is practically identical to last year's instalment. If anything it is worse than last years because of the new bugs.
Unbelievable.

Re: FIFA 21
Yep played it too and can confirm. Identical to FIFA 20 but they don't care beause all the kids will buy anyway.
Seems like pace plays even more of a part in FUT especially, plebs just spam sprint and run in a straight line.

Re: FIFA 21
The changes from 20 are absolutely minimal, there is the welcome change of passing in more difficult areas becoming more difficult with a higher chance for the ball to go wayward but I'm sure they'll patch it soon after complaints and we'll get back to where we were with 20. They've changed some of the skills that had become part of my game and that sucks big time for me.
Other than that there are practically no changes from 20 other than kit updates and new commentary (only the English version, Latin American version is still the same). Some say the minimal changes are because they're working on next generation. I say baloney. The next gen features are purely visual and technical related to SSD, something we've had on PC for years. Is this title worth €70? Not a chance in hell, but will still sell like hotcakes.

21 on PS4/XB1 is basically 20 but fixing all the stuff that they broke in 20 like heading, passing, through balls, dribbling and so forth.
For this reason I enjoy 21 over 20 as it's not a snooze fest anymore.
Currently i'm struggling with dribbling & pace is it's near impossible to defend against it because your defender can't keep up. I hope they either slightly tone it down or buff defending.
I'm currently in D4 (haven't played much last few days) and i'm balls deep in formation, tactics etc. to sort my defending as scoring is easy. But the inevitable first patch will change lots of things as usual so we'll see how it goes.

I have a few days left of my vacation, so I’m considering getting this game, but I have a lot of family dinners and birthday parties to attend to in the upcoming days, so I’m not sure yet
