Odds are we’ll start with something like this (depending on signings).

Kulu and Arthur have been training with the group and doing well.

De Ligt will miss the first month or two of the season after shoulder surgery so we’ll see Chiellini/Bonucci/Demiral playing those matches.

My point was to illustrate that the squad has gotten younger. The average age has considerably reduced. Not that I think that the Mckennie's or the Pellegrini's of this world will be world beaters.

They command massively different wages

The issue with Suarez isn’t wages though. It’s the non-EU status.

Juventus has zero money to spend so I’m not surprised. Giroud being there to lay the ball off and have a presence in the penalty area is not the worst but it’s extremely underwhelming.
