Turki Al-Ali: The #AlSadd administration has agreed on Xavi’s move to Barcelona after the payment of the release clause stipulated in the contract. We’ve agreed on cooperation with Barcelona in the future. Xavi is an important part of Al-Sadd’s history and we wish him success. pic.twitter.com/3FvCOdYl5X

only R.Koeman could see the genius hidden deep (very deep) inside Luuk, justice4kunman
Poor de jong. it's not his fault Barca wanted him. you can't treat players like that. sign them up then treat them like sh*t. Barca stinks.

He's only loaned... New coach coming in, its only natural that some players are in his plans and some aren't

Not wanting a player is one thing but publicly humiliating him via every media you have is a bit much.
Barca mistreating players is nothing new lol. Madrid too but to be honest Barca has taken it to the next level.

Do you blame Florentino for everything Marca publishes aswell? Newspapers will do what newspapers do, which is sell clickbait and rumors.

"Now is the least risky time to move" was his farewell words to Al-Sadd sand barons.

Unreal. Now even the quality of one of the greatest midfielders of all time will be called into question just so that Messi can get all the credit for Pepcelona

Barcelona won the World Cup without Messi.
Such a shame he chose Argentina he could have stolen all of the Spanish glory but alas he’s just stuck in a dead man’s shadow instead

Re: Xavi, next Barca manager
Sooo excited about Xavi himself, at his best he dominated any midfield vs any opponent, was a pleasure to watch. Will be fasinating to see how he implements things and being Barcas manager.
Ppl say he will bring back out Taki Taka rigidly, but I highly doubt that, I think hes more realistic than that. Also possession wise we've maintained that pretty much even with the last few coaches, so thats still our strength wont be a problem, the main thing I expect is to see how he makes our team attack, which we have struggled for sooo long, if he maintains everything else n just improves the attack that would be awesome already.
He should want wingers according to what he says so we got Fati n Dembele, obviously the latter isnt reliable so we might have to play Dest there... our last real RW was Malcolm who was left footed and even then we sold him for no reason lol... Wonder if he will play Depay up top since hes clearly not suitable for it.
I just dont wanna see any players being played out of position anymore if we can pls, makes them so much worst n affects so many other things negatively... but I guess with so many players out Xavis gonna have to until these damn injuries stop.
The realistic aim is for top 4 and wont be surprised if we just make Europa or Conference. Long term project so no pressure this season on him really.

Re: Xavi, next Barca manager
Messi carried Argentina like Barcelona, to three finals. Would've a World Cup and three Copas if Higuain finished 3 1on1's, together with four MVP's. Xavi is hyped because tactical, and team edge. He's the most overrated player of all time, together with Iniesta and Cronaldo. I predicted that he would join now Barcelona when they are in bottom of the barrel, than when they most needed him, before the fall. Less risky than his safe passes.Found wrote:Barcelona won the World Cup without Messi.
