Finished Last of Us. Every bit as good as the hype. Wish I played it when it was fresh though. More so definitely one of the best stories in video gaming and easily one of the best characters of all time in Joel. Troy Baker is so far and away the best VA its not even close.

The ending was beautiful and just what it needed to be.


I cannot wait to begin the sequel though playing just as Ellie wont be as fun given she works well as a compliment to Joel but not interesting enough per say alone. The duo is what makes the game for me. I sincerely hope not to come across any forced narratives in there.

Nothing in the game felt forced to me Arq, but you're more than welcome to make your own judgement when you play the game.

This game 'Among Us' seems to be getting a lot of hype lately

Did you ever play The Wolf Among us, RG? I recommend it, if you even have a shred of interest in that type of game. It was free on PS+ at some point.

I didn't like Telltales TWD so i doubt i will like The wolf among us lol.

I never played The Walking Dead, so I don’t know how similar they are. The Wolf Among us is widely regarded as their best game, though. It’s not a genre of games I’m typically interested in, but I genuinely liked it. I played a few of their other games, but none of them had quite the same quality. The Borderlands one was alright.

Can confirm The Wolf Among us is not like other Telltale games, definitely worth your time RG.

The Wolf Among us is a relatively short game, and I imagine it's pretty cheap to pick up as well, so if you have nothing else to play, it doesn't hurt to try it out. If anything, it will provide a different experience from what you usually play, RG. Personally, I enjoyed the mysticism of the fairy tale based, fantasy world and characters they created. It has a mature theme, which I appreciate, and I think it was very well put together by Telltale. It's a shame that they never produced anything else quite like it.


I don't know if this has already been posted on here, but this Chinese indie game looks quite impressive. From my experience, though, Chinese companies are absolutely scrupoulus when it comes to bait and switch, and tricking consumers, in general. They can get away with it in China, since their culture dictates that the world is unfair and there's no point in complaining about it, but that kind of policy just doesn't work in the west.

Coming to XBOX and PC, rumored in 2021.

Is it basically a sci-fi Skyrim then?

I'm hoping more of a TES system rather than Fallout, where there's different races you could choose. Also hoping they've not streamlined their games even more. Better guests and choices & consequences should be given for a modern rpg.

An open world Mass Effect style game with a good story would have me more than interested.

Bought Oculus Quest for our healthcare department for some proof of concept shit. Decided to bring it home for the weekend to try stuff and Phasmophobia VR.

The day after, I bought a Sony VR with Star Wars Squadron & Firewall Zero Hour.

We've been talking about getting it few months after PS5 but this year in terms of MP for PS4 has been dry af.

How’s your tolerance to VR, Sacci? I think VR is really fun, but I could rarely play it for longer than half an hour without feeling sick. The most fun games were the worst. Resident Evil and Skyrim really fucked me up.

Just about to start on PS VR and see how it is.

With Oculus I had some sort of big dizzyness after 30 min of play time. After a few more sessions it stopped.

Oculus is not comfortable at all. Both for the head and eyes. The PS one has padding for your forhead and backhead which makes it much better.

But i’m gonna try the two games and see how it is

I don’t know what triggers the dizziness. I owned a VR set for about a month before I got it refunded. Sometimes, I’d feel really sick from just around half an hour of playing, other times I could play for over an hour and not feel all that bad.

Skyrim was the worst. I spent almost two hours playing it after I had built up some tolerance, and when I decided to stop, I felt really awful. It was like being super hungover. I had to go to bed during the middle of the day.

That was the dealbreaker for me. I probably shouldn’t have pushed through the sickness, but I don’t think I’ll get a VR set of my own until they figure out how to fix the motion sickness, or at least figure out how to reduce it.

Played nearly 3 hours of SW and no dizziness. Got used to it quickly after Oculus.

I spent more time adjusting the VR than playing. Half of it was to not having the game text blurred only to realise it's happening for everyone

Gonna try the FPS game in a bit. VR will basically be something i'll have on the side when I either need a break from PS4/5 or don't have anything to play.

That's a good sign. I played that clown rollercoaster game on the PS4 for over an hour without feeling dizzy or sick at all, but other games seemed to affect me after only a few minutes. Would've thought the trigger was games that shake and blur a lot, but it must be something else.
