Who will be the Democrats' presidential candidate against Trump?

You really treat politics just like talking about race and sports. Completely embedded in this tribal warfare, have no regard for policy or ideas.

You have to run either as a D or R in this country at the national level to be a legitimate candidate.

So he is a true democrat by carpet bagging the party for his own national gains....but a guy who is on the ground floor of the party always, stumps for democrats nationwide, and was on the ticket of the last democratic president is just a polished republican?

I mean tribalism is there for a reason. Democrats, by and large, represent everything good about this country from my perspective. Republicans do not.

Biden winning South Carolina shows the power of the endorsement from a high-ranking black member of Congress like Clyburn. Without his endorsement, Biden may still have won, but it would've been a lot closer.

What should be worrying for Bernie is that Biden beat him comfortably in the 18-29 black vote group in South Carolina as well as the older black voting groups.

A repeat of that in other Southern states would mean bigger issues for him down the road.

Biden path is winning the red states and getting the conservative votes.

He is not winning the blue states, he might not even get the purple states.

Establishment power is strong, for Example Biden has not campighned in any state on super Tuesday before the SC primary. Yet he will Carry many of those southern states due to local political rep/sen/gov/mayor support.



Biden calls M4A "pie in the sky" and impossible. So virtually all wealthy nations eat pie in the sky except United States.

Amy and Pete dropped out to help Biden, Warren should do the same for Bernie if she truly belives progressives causes.

At the begining I was for Warren honestly, it's kinda sad what happened to her.

I don’t think Biden has thought over his pie analogy through. Saying universal healthcare is like pie can’t be good for his campaign. Don’t what could motivate Americans more than that.

Dems better be careful what they wish for if he is the nominee. Biden has gotten so much of a pass from MSM, conservative media will be relentless against him.

GOP has a lot of pull in the media, so many Biden can be scrutinized for but he gets a pass atm because anti Bernie coalition.

Wonder how Biden will be perceived in the rust belt, when he is scrutinized for NAFTA and adovacating for Chinese trades.

But what exactly is the political argument for Biden? What does he stand for?

It's not about age really, Bernie is two years older than Biden yet he sounds a lot sharper than him.

I just think Biden was never mentally ready for this, his advisers forced him to run because his polling numbers looked good.

My grandpa has a good 9-10 years on both of them(early 30's child instead of an early 40's one) and hes as sharp as a steak knife.

Old people dont always lose their mental faculties. Only thing really deteriorating is the physical side, but president isnt exactly manual labor.

Biden and Sanders are a special case of elderly person. They are millionaires. They arent the common granny in the nursing home losing it with substandard care.

Wondering if this is disqualifying. Considering Bernie getting endorsement from dumb people is.

It is kinda amusing how the DNC is doing everything to help Biden; Amy and Pete, and now Beto O'rourke is endorsing Biden. Biden is so lazy that he cannot even finish a sentence, has everyone helping him out against Bernie progressive agenda. Democrats are fighting harder against Bernie than anything they have done against Trump. Pelosi and Schumer have basically giving everything to Trump.

If Bernie loses the nomination, i will go politically inactive i will not vote for anyone for the foreseeable future. I see no value in voting for two sides that i ultimately believe are virtually the same.

Bernie is too much of a nice guy, i do not think he is a good politician. Other campaigns are smearing him and he refuses to criticize them, and simply just criticizes them indirectly( dem establishment. Yet the media has him as the toxic candidate.

He should push that Biden is corrupt and a terrible leader, rather then saying he can't beat Trump.

This is Bernie's biggest weakness tbh, he doesn't understand the fact that the establishment is ruthless. you don't comprimise with them, you absolutely beat them into submission just like how Trump did with the Republicans in 2016.

Its not lost on me that Hans and Freeza both have shown distinct love for Abrams and Beto. People who have came out in huge support of Bloomberg and Biden respectively.

Bernie is a middle of the road democrat where I come from.

All the other democrats would be far right wing.

And Beto was great when he wasn’t corrupt. It happened right after he started running and he lost his support instantly.

It amazes me how Democrats haven’t learned from nominating these dumb centrists yet. They’ll lose again this year and the world has to suffer for it.
