That is a bitch move for sure.
Another bitch move is teams resting players. If my guys get random rest in the playoffs then I have no chance.

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
That's bs tbh
What Freeza and Mole are doing ?? A cuck move against Ghost whose a rookie AND he's been clawing for the 6th spot all year long. All this for nothing. Should have benched everyone last week, not as a troll, but seriously. To compensate

Ah, the line ups are set now.
Freeza missed 3 games only, but elite numbers. Might have a bigger impact than what happened last week, since i won back all categories affected, and rightfully lost the only advantage it gave me (it was .000 in FT%)
Hopefully it was just an honest mistake, been there, if so, sorry for calling you a cuck

I thought he was just trolling like Habs.
I was and forgot. Calm down. Just more of a challenge now for me. I’ll catch up in games played anyway.

Also nothing wrong with being a cuck. So I don’t take offence to it. It’s time we take back the term from the right wingers

I don't even care, with people quitting and trolling then "forgetting", I completely lost interest in this alltogether.

Vibe please do not let mere jokes destroy that beautiful enthusiasm of yours. Without Numpteam the fantasy league is not the same, and PS5 will be delayed by corona virus.
Last week you revamped my morale, i tried to do the same now by copy-pasting your previous post but it made absolutely no sense. So i say the first 2 sentences of this post instead.

Then that’s that.
I’m not playing next season either. It’s been getting kind of stale lately. This is year 7 or 8 in this league for me and when it’s not a keeper league at that point there’s really nothing to be excited about when a team is hampered by injuries. Something that happens basically 50% of the years.

i've already told you a keeper league won't work especially if guys come and go and don't stay around. At least with the current format we can experiment with different players and strategies across different seasons without having to keep certain players which would inevitably be stale imo
it's one season where you didn't compete, and injuries are totally out of your hand, grow up and don't be a wet blanket about it.

That's precisely why i said i don't have fun anymore, and hesitating to stop playing.
I'd vote for new rules, like we can retain 4-5 players each year. And the draft is just the rejects + rookies. If anything it would become more strategic and more banterous.

unbelievable, in what psychological state were you two born in.
Injuries are inevitable freak occurrences... i was the only one hit by it last year and i still washed away my own tears and came back with excitement for this season.
what difference is a keeper league going to make to injuries? what if your keeper players tear their ACL and you're stuck with them across different seasons

Sure. Whatever you say.
Also it’s not one season where I didn’t compete lol. I’ve had four seasons without competing. All drafts are the same in this format. There’s no strategy and the guys with the highest seed are the dudes lucking into Anthony Davis.
After eight year I just want to try something different that changes the strategy a lot more. Where you have to weigh your options on who to keep. If you should try drafting a rookie higher than a guy like LeBron because he’d be amazing in a season or two and LBJ has got limited years left. Stuff like that.

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
Those are good arguments
Not sure if what i propose is a solution to injuries, still it would spice things up. If someone leaves then we delete his club and the guy who replaces has an expansion draft.
I'll just add that last year you washed away your tears during summer
because in the season we could feel your sadness

You’re not stuck with your whole team. Keep someone else then. We’re only speaking about 3-4 players.
An example would be me keeping Zion, Lonzo, Beal and Collins this year. That would still leave plenty dudes free to draft like McCollum and Jokic.
It just means you have to take a different approach. If someone gets injured and you suck you’ll then get a higher pick the next season and you’ll be able to pick first from the best of the rest.

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
Would keep Lillard, Sabonis, Ayton and Bryant
The rest of my keepable players is either old dudes or guys i don't trust anymore like Capela (injuries) and Mitchell (cares only for an all-star status)
But if we end up doing that, next season shall be year 1, not the current season

Of course it would have to be next year as year one. Teams would be totally different with that in mind. Would have probably spent my first two picks on Luka and Zion in that case

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
It's like you've decided to play under those rules already lol. With Zion/Oladipo your 2 injuries spot were locked for most of the season, the equivalent of shooting yourself in both feet. Yet in keeper mode this becomes a good strategy.
Anyways, the idea is now submitted, after the playoffs we'll have five months to decide what we do.

Zion wasn't that injured before I drafted him. An hour after it was revealed he'd be out for 4-8 weeks and it ended up being 12. Oladipo was also very late iirc. One of the picks where everyone drops the pick at some point anyway.
Before the draft it sounded like nothing major and suddenly it was a torn meniscus.
What hurt me the most was Jaren Jackson, Jaylen Brown and Bagley all being constantly injured. I had high hopes for J^3 and Bagley and it cost me. Two guys without injury concerns.
And Jokic was shit for the first part of the season where I really needed. And Beal wasn't what he is now. What a fucking stud.

true

I still don't see the appeal in a keeper league over the current format. The current draft is based on chance and a new slate every season and really forces you to work with the free agents throughout the season, and that's beautiful to me.
But we can see how many are going to return and put it to a vote over the off-season.

I like the current format but I would reconsider if it wasn't possible to run the current format due to lack of interest.
I've also been doing this substantially less time than others, so I can see where it's gotten stale for Mole or Freeza
