They way it is going United might well end up behind both Spurs and Arsenal.

Ole has a CM who scored 30 goals from midfield but decided to play him as a pivot so he could give Perreira more attacking freedom instead. Oh my days.

He scored a lot of goals in the Portuguese league, but I assume he was bought primarily to be a playmaker since that’s been the one type of player they’ve sorely missed for the longest time now. They’ve got injuries, and Andreas Perreira certainly doesn’t have quality distribution in him Razz

He’s a high risk player who isn’t efficient at all lol. At Sporting he was allowed to take as many risks as he wanted to. United seemed fine letting him do so too so I don't think he'll flop.

But again positionally if someone is capable of getting you 30 goals from midfield you play him higher up the pitch. He shouldn't be behind the ball defending counterattacks. He should be making runs into the box.

He is basically a second striker, and one who isn't likely to have nowhere near the same impact as he had in portugal. A top team can rarely afford a player like him, and if they do, he must be much better.

His game needs to change to a more well rounded one as a midfielder, unless United allow him all the liberties (which they won't).

I still don't see this big money move as a coherent one, should have been a much cheaper player.

Ole made that change cos he didnt want to loose. Pereira in CM is a disaster. Idiot was giving dangerous freekicks in the first half and when you got players like Neves in the opposition ranks, its suicide.  Also a midfield of Pereira and Fred never works. Its the same problem we have been having with Pogba. Cos there arent anyone else to dictate the play, Pogba is pulled further back. Whats the point in playing these creators up the pitch if there's no one to keep possession and control the game in mf.

Can't have a City/Spurs game without VAR.

Also, what's up with City and pens? At this rate, Ederson really will end up taking them.

Why is Aguero not taking them? He is good at it isn't he?
