How long will Mikel Arteta be Arsenal‘s manager?

Same impression as mine. I genuinely think Arsenal have been the most entertaining Prem team to watch this year, and it’s largely due to how Arteta has made the team play.

I mean the way he plays is why they hired him in the first play. It's just that if you want to play positional and possession football then the first tenant is to cleanly construct play from the back.
There's a big difference going from Leno, Chambers, and Holding doing that to Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, and Ben White.
I don't even remember who their DM was before Partey joined.
Their attackers were a bunch of kids. I don't think it was realistic to expect guys like Martinelli and Saka to consistently produce. Saka was playing in a different position every game. Now it seems like he'll be specializing as a RW. You can't become world-class until you specialize in a certain position.
Martinelli, Odegaard, and Saka are all gaining experience in those attacking midfield positions. Lacazette lacks the quality to lead the line but his playing style up front suits those players better.
Arteta also got rid of toxic influences like Ozil, Auba, and more. He's built an exciting and young team. They'll be even better with more signings this summer since they've already made their foundational signings. This is one of the few instances where trusting the process seems to have benefited the team when I think 95% of other teams would have sacked Arteta after the early season poor form.

So yea, for a long time i've been saying we only need young and hungry players that fit the system and that our willing to prove themselves rather than big name players, and it seems to be paying off now. It will be a huge step in the right direction if we get CL football.

Re Partey:
He has been top class last few months in single pivot role
Does everything
Correct positioning, ball winning, line breaking passes, big switches of play, evading pressure, knowing when to play forward and when to play sideways/backwards to reset the move
He does it to a top standard whether it's against Norwich or Man city or Liverpool
Needs to keep it up,only issue in his Arsenal career so far has been consistency and he himself admitted it
Quality was never in doubt

Re: Mikel Arteta Sack Watch
But if he ends up losing 4th spot to Spurs, he might still be considered a failure judging by the money spent and their competition (Spurs) being so bad they sacked their coach midseason.
All in all it depends on how the board will assess his work at the end of the season.

we've seen this movie way too many times before...
Arsenal only play free and well when they have nothing to lose... while they tense up and play like sissies when they feel the pressure
now as to who's to blame for that? entire culture at the club

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone The manager is the be all, end all in the eyes of most football fans. Papering over cracks by hiring a new manager is a thing.

No. They don't. It doesn't add an additional CL spot unless the fifth place or lower is the one that wins it.
