Great choice made by the player, he’ll get first team minutes while playing for an attacking minded team and still has a chance to get his big contract in a few years if he impresses.

I think the hype is based around his young age and goalscoring statistics, both in the league and the CL this season. He’s been a constant, offensive threat since he made his debut for our national team this year. He’s physically imposing, really fast and technically skillful for his size, and his positional and general, football intelligence seems to be very high despite his ogre- like appearance.

I like his playing style and peculiar set of skills, and I think he’s exciting to watch when he uses his physique to plow through opposing players - I can’t think of any other player who does that to quite the same effect.

That said, I don’t follow RB Salzburg outside of the CL. He was quite poor in his final CL match against Liverpool, and like with all other hyped up youngsters, I don’t think he’s established enough consistency to firmly grasp his sustainable level of quality. Maybe it’s just me, but the football world seems to be particularly obsessed with discovering and revealing teenage prodigies, these days.

The hype quite simply, is warranted and not just due to the level he scored at and the opposition in the UCL but the array of skills he has within his arsenal.

By now its just a matter if he can develop properly and deliver and Dortmund is the place for that so happy the Erling made a smarter choice.

deal was agreed with manure but he wanted a release cluse in his contract so he could move to a better team if one comes in for him and manure wouldent agree to it. you know you are shit when you cant sign a 18yo rookie because he insists on a get out cluse @frenzy

Salzburg getting just 25m for Minamino and Haland is just criminal.

Keep in mind that his league stats are Austrian Bundesliga, which is different from the German Bundesliga. CL stats are legit though..

Dortmund was the right choice.

I dont know whether we were legit there for him and the kid indeed rejected us. May be it was a cock up on Woodward's part as usual lol. But I do believe its for the good ultimately. Blessing in disguise and all that. We dont need a 19 y.o striker really with Martial doing well and a talent like Greenwood waiting. May be Haaland is going to become a much better player than latter, who knows, but for the time being at least Greenwood has shown enough for us to give him that chance. He deserves that trust from the club. The kid's been quality ever since he broke out. So, yea, no big deal the move didnt happen.

Also its the most sensible choice for Haland too. He can be a starter there. There will be much lesser pressure and he can make that big money move  2-3 years later. So, yea fair enough and good luck to the boy.
