So what part upset the same bunch of pussies. Was it the part where I was terribly racist for saying sushi is disgusting. Or was the hate speech when I said I don't like watching women stick a octopus in her cooter

The admins are doing fine. If they had listened to every "please ban this guy" on here, we'd have no members left. Also, we've got a bunch of chickenshits who let other people talk in their stead, and hide their intentions behind upvoting other people's posts on this forum, so everyone should just grow some balls.

thats ur problem keep it to yourself ; just because you hate something doesnt mean you direct at people
if that is what free speech is and if that is what means per forum regulations or thread requirement in which admin clearly states .... "keeping respectful and civil while discussing about racism issues" then i got better things to spend time on
this thread is clearly discussing about racism issues nO???? or is it talk about bs i hate this i hate those people i hate what they kill i hate what they eat or making porns what stuff???? wtf... wow!
i am blown away how things work here... i thought people have a lot of respect towards each other while discussing matter

This thread is example of why I dread the day sweets makes me take her on a vacation to Europe. Growing up in the west, as a Japanese person, I know how to give as good as I get. A person coming from a society where it doesnt happen though will get hurt by it
It makes you ugly having to do it, but you do what you can do to survive I suppose.
@JespSwe hate you had to see it like that, but thats how we live out here.
On the topic of racism lets be honest here. Europe has Nothing to say when Norway kills more Whales than Japan for consumption of food they do not need.
http://savedolphins.eii.org/news/entry/norway-now-kills-more-whales-than-japan
Whale tastes like shit, but I order an extra serving for any engagement that has older people there just out of principle. The west does NOT get to play imperialism with Yamato culture.

I suppose it's about weather you are a people person or a animal person. I like animals more than people these days tbh so I would not trade the life of one whale for a Hundred Japanese people but that's just me.Young Kaz wrote:This thread is example of why I dread the day sweets makes me take her on a vacation to Europe. Re: The Racism Thread
I'm aware of the killing of whales in the northern parts of country. I have no particular opinion on it. It's not something that's commonly discussed around here, and most Norwegians probably aren't even aware of it. Whale meat is not commonly eaten outside the very northern part of the country, and I would be hesitant to taste it, myself.
My other post wasn't directed towards anyone particular. Throughout the lifespan of this forum, I've become accustomed to seeing people who typically like to instigate others, call for unique or someone else to be banned and/or warned, or for the mods "to take action". It's not only hypocritical, but this place would be miserable if the supposedly lenient mods listened to these whimsical cries for action every time there's an argument on here. We've already been reduced to a very small community.
I've never eaten whale, or even Sushi, myself. Not a big fan of seafood, in general. There seems to be a sushi joint on every corner these days though, so I might have to try it out soon.

so are we allowed to say whatever we want to say just because we hate something therefore directed at people or community who has no affliation or doesnt share or even practice what is claimed out to be?
i dont eat whales neither do majority of japanese citizens, i dont go watch sick porns neither do other people here, i dont go out and ditch radiated water in ocean nor do japanese citizen (it just happened to be a biggest earthquate in history ; regardless it was a very poor disaster management by TEPCO in which they are and will continue to be held accountable, and so will govt through international pressures - we used to have nuclear plants and its all zero now and that was clearly through initiative of good people who understood the results. for this matter i even in another thread pointed out that how many nuclear plants are globally near oceans not just japan, and that in any day when disaster where to struck there will be serious issue towards ocean. i even pointed out examples followed by germany in which Japan did too by clearly getting out of nuclear energy business...
just because a town of 2000 people continue to practice whale eating doesnt mean the rest of population who despise this practice are accountable ...
just because lets say majority of people eat meat, pork, fish whatever that is killing wildlife, nature, doesnt mean i go and spread hate speech like americans do this, germans do that, british does this... atleast thats not my style, there is way to do it, but in constructive respectful way. i wouldnt argue that overfishing whaling is a very bad thing, clearly japan does it, in fact country violated overfishing quota few times - that doesnt mean it has to be directed at japanese people... not everyone share this same view, and if it means preserving and protecting nature, most will agree here to do what it takes to keep the balance and respect the nature, wildlife ....
and seems everytime there is whaling issue its highlighted mostly on japanese, dont like fish dig towards japanese, sick porn - dig towards japanese ...
i am not calling out someone to be banned either, but lets be honest, if this is what is allowed - hate speech towards people or community, when in the beginning of the thread clearly it says there will be disagreements or agreements in views but it is to be exercised with respect and civilized way ... and it is not...
its not whimsical cries, i find it actually disgusting that is ok to do that.
if this the case, please by all means count me out of from this reduced community for life.
i been here since 2007 on various forum incarnations before we settled here but its been a pleasure ya all ... sorry if i didnt share the same view i will stay away from this debacle ; hate speech towards community (any) is something i cant stand... i have respect for people here and i know they are from various ends of the world and i treat them same way despite what they do or their community does because i see lot of good in them

swallowing the bitter truth and coming to terms... , clearly i havent been raised on environment where racism and hate speech is norm , i consider myself very blessed and lucky and thankful for people around me
been to US, HK, Australia, UK, Germany and got lot of friends globally from europe, US, SAmerica, S.korea, china through day to day business life as well and never faced this... feels like i have even found a better respect towards people around me no matter what they thought of us inside, good or bad, they still know how to enjoy friendship and keep respect and courtesy

I don’t dictate what people are allowed to say, or what they’re not allowed to say. I just disagree with these persistent arguments I’ve seen on here a few times, that the mods aren’t doing their job because «person X clearly has a multi-account, and he gets away with it» or «person Y is getting away with murder, but I get punished for lesser things». These are kindergarden arguments. I thought we were all at least in our 20s, by now.
If anything, I think the mods have done a great job of staying impartial and not getting carried away with the occasional drama that occurs on here from time to time. Generally speaking, I think it’s unreasonable how frequently some people criticise them for not raising the ban hammer as soon as someone feels inconvenienced by someone else. The «whimsical cries» were again, not directed towards you or any one person, but a long standing trend of people complaining about the moderators.
As for Unique’s comments, I get the impression that they were in jest and it wouldn’t have offended me if they had been directed towards Norway and Norwegian culture, but we’re all different. For what it matters, I agree that it’s silly to generalise entire countries based on specific practices that are only practised by a small minority of a population, but again, I suspect the freaky porn and whale killing arguments weren’t meant to be taken seriously.
Racism and hate speech isn’t a norm anywhere. I believe the country of Japan, as well as most things that come out of Japan, are widely respected on this forum. Even Unique is looking forward to the release of Resident Evil 3 remake
I’ve stayed up all night and I’m starting to feel my eyes closing. There aren’t many of us, Goal.com forumers left. If you decide to leave the forums, I wish you all the best!

Re: The Racism Thread
i think the problem is everything is called rasict now and sometime people dont like to be criticised so they call you a racist. when nearly every little thing is now called racist you are bound to get more and more people that strongly disagree its a thin line now and no room for middle ground anymore its like you are 100% not racist or you are the next hitler in the making and thats how it is now. in this very thread i made a joke about not liking sushi ( but its true i dont like eating raw fish ) and a joke about crazy japenese porn. but i was serious about killing whales and dumping nuclear waste into the sea but some how that got turned into me being racist to japan and pushing hate speech. now has it got to the point you cant call a country out for things it does or is going to do or say you dont like some of its food racism and hate speech. maybe im just to old for 2020.Myesyats wrote:This thread is shambles and should be locked imo

racism part 2
“I was born here. My grandmother lived here. She died here. I belong here. I hate this place. If I were an outsider, I’d just burn it down and say, ‘Split. Leave.’ But because this is my home — ridiculously, absurdly, cruelly my home — I don’t want to burn it down.”

Re: The Racism Thread
McLewis wrote:I can't disagree with anything you said here. I've since seen the bodycam footage of how this all started and the conclusion I've come to is no different than where I was before I saw the additional footage. The police escalated this. Rayshard offered alternatives that would've kept him safe and the public safe. The police didn't listen to him, because they never listen to black people when they are intent on an arrest. Had they listened to him, he'd still be alive and safe with his cousin or sister with only the car to worry about. Now he's dead because his fight or flight instincts kicked in when they escalated this situation and tried to arrest him
I do have to ask you about this one: what were the alternatives for the police here? You say that he gave options, but are the police legally allowed to call an Uber and allow someone who was clearly driving under the influence to go home? And as someone that lives in a state with a major alcohol problem, this course of action feels...idk it feels a little gross to me. I have very little sympathy for anyone who drives under the influence. It's extremely gross negligence and indicates a lack of care for the lives of people around you. I certainly would have said before this case that people who are caught driving under the influence should be arrested. I think this single case shouldn't change my opinion.
With that being said, perhaps the concept of not immediately jailing DUI offenders is something that should be considered. I personally will consider that alternative, and consider whether that is a better course of action.
Anyway, I would appreciate your response. I'm not sure I agree with your assessment about cops escalating the situation because 1) I'm not sure they are legally (or civil as well, who is liable if Brooks goes home and then decides he REALLY wants Wendy's and begins to drive again) allowed to and 2) I have my own complicated feelings on DUI's and am not sure i agree with the concept of allowing a clear DUI offender the opportunity to go home instead of spending the night in "the drunk tank".
