No Arsenal wanted to keep him and offered him a new contract, but Bayern wanted to sign him after his performances in the Confederations Cup and he made his choice. Not that I blame him, it was the right choice.

Has he always been a great finisher? The technique on those strikes were amazing.

Re: Serge Gnabry
He scored bangers on the regular for Arsenal's youth teams and scored a fair few when he played for Bremen and Hoffenheim.
He actually broke into Arsenal's first team during the 13/14 season and scored on his first PL start, but then missed a whole year with injury. Then instead of nurturing him back into the first team, Arsenal sent him to Tony Pulis and the rest is history.
To be more specific, he decided not to renew his contract because his first team spot had been taken by Alex Iwobi... who Arsenal sold to Everton three years later.

Nope.
His finishing at the Olympics was atrocious, for example.
But for us he's been immensely clinical and consistent.
