Victor Osimhen
Nigerian forward Now at Lille
6′ 1,fast, can strike the ball with both feet, good box movement and has got that ability to create extra yard for himself and get a shot away, good stamina as well
needs to shield the ball better as he sometimes shows too much of the ball to defenders

6 Goals in first 7 league games,First Lille player to do that in over 50 years

Frank Lampard on Victor Osimhen:
— Scouted Football (@ScoutedFtbl) October 3, 2019
"He was hugely impressive. He gave our defenders a problem all the time – he wants to run behind, he's fast, he has pretty much everything in his game.
"His story is great. He looks like he has a fantastic career ahead of him." pic.twitter.com/hWAYQDQqMC

Re: Victor Osimhen
I feel like 80m is a lot more than I imagined Napoli paying for him. If Napoli can get Boga and make more use of Lozano, that's a potentially killer front 3.
I have seen little of Osimhen myself so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Re: Victor Osimhen
What a club Lille is
Pepe for 72m. Osimhen for 80m. Hazard for 40m before inflated market. Gervinho for £2m or so

runned by Gerard Lopez - a spanish / luxemburg investor - known him from F1 when his firm GENNI capital invested in Renault f1 team - was doing similar things buy low sell high - invest no more than threshold set to avoid operating loss .... sold team back to Renault on hefty profit
and now they seems to be doing same thing w/ Lille OSC -
interestingly Elliott management (who owns AC Milan) also injected €117m of the €142m that Lille needed to write off their debts apparently lol and read something like Lopez have to re-pay owned money by 2021..
like u say they been buying really low to get big talents w/ potential and selling high, Raphael leao cost us 30m + bonuses too.

Re: Victor Osimhen
Oshimen great player but feels Napoli overpaid - way too high - that kind of money would have bought napoli like established top 10 superstars ...
instead i feel like they should have invested in Soumare on half of that for outgoing Allan - then another half of that on some top forward which they could have gotten

Osimhen on fraud watch
Very expectedly got covid and has to be sidelined, is now fined by Napoli for breaking protocols

Re: Victor Osimhen
He was looking promising, this level of poor judgement is enough to make me wary though. Reminds me of Theo's birthday party, but much worse, during covid times.

Caught the Roma-Napoli game tonight. He's a menace. The contrast between him and Abraham was glaring.

Re: Victor Osimhen
Yeah that goal was special from him. Fabulous player. I feel bad for Smalling as he had not put a foot wrong all match until that goal. Misjudged the bounce and Osimhen didn't. That's all it took.
As for Tammy, just really bad form right now along with the other forwards. Only Dybala is in form and he's injured so without that, we have absolutely no production up top. That puts all the pressure on the defense. And Roma defenses don't handle pressure well. Few know that better than Spalletti.

Huge threat facing the goal. Good combination of athleticism, technique and instincts. The way he can latch onto passes and run at goal is great.
