No worries mate it'll soon be a done dealio. You can enjoy your new superstar midfielder. Maybe we should do a buy 1 get 1 free deal and include Khedira in the package too.
Emre Can is very close to saying goodbye to Juventus. He is ready to cut his salary in order to join Borussia Dortmund. [Sky Germany]

Emre Can's time at Juventus is about to end. He is no longer part of Sarri's plans & would gladly return to the Bundesliga. Juventus awaits a first offer. Contacts with Dortmund will start in the next few hours. [@RomeoAgresti]

Can will be a Dortmund player very soon.
Rejected Man United to go back to his homeland with a pay cut. I can respect him for that.

It is actually on the kicker website that BVB is interested in signing Can, but the price and his wages are too high. Which really proves that Dortmund do not want to win the title this season

Atletico Madrid & Chelsea lead interest in Cavani but #mufc are tentatively exploring a deal. Alexis Sanchez experience will inform internal discussions. No guarantees at all they’ll pursue. Fernandes talks ongoing. McTominay recovery ahead of schedule https://t.co/kX0aiwBmZu

You won't be getting Cavani if you're 'tentatively explore' a deal with a week to go in the window.
And this "Sanchez experience" argument is so fucking dumb.
If you sign an old superstar, you will have to pay superstar wages, but Cavani ultimately has delivered everywhere hasn't he?
He's had tremedous flop moments in terms of chances wasted when he still had to share the stage with Ibra, IIRC, but his runs, work rate, getting into positions, making space, is world class, as are his goal scoring numbers over the last decade.
Cavani is easily the very best quality player United could possibly dream of getting, in this window, in their situation, in a position they desperately need someone.
What's the fucking problem? If you can get him, sign him?
He's not going to be on the wage bill forever, it's just this one contract? The team is criminally young as it is, a player like Cavani is exactly what's needed? And he won't be "blocking" Martial, or Rashfords, or fucking GReenwoods' career either at nearly 33 will he.
This is a no brainer if I ever saw one. That Cavani is available for a transfer, and might maybe even consider joining Utd (IDK) is more like a gift from heaven for Utd in the current situation.
The challenge should be to persuade him to join a club that is hovering in midtable and doing as poorly as yours, not spread the vibe that you don't consider him good enough lmao
There's quite simply not DoF/squad building competence at Utd, none whatsoever.

Would you think buying someone like Piontek has a better chance of proving successful? Someone whose career status and confidence is very insecure yet?
Especially in the short term, because let's face it Utd have urgent short term problems, on the striker position in particular and in the league table in general
Short term solutions are very underrated.

AS Roma still exploring a loan with option for the boy who could do everything. His name is Adnan, he comes from Belgium, Januzaj. He’s not a regular starter at Sociedad anymore. #mufc pic.twitter.com/m97qgEyAad

I'd take Cavani but it's clearly a big risk. I also think all of Woodward's and Mou's flops have made the club apprehensive. I think we also may have a money flow problem and/ or a reluctance to back a manager that probably won't be there in a few months.
Anyway, we obviously need a goalscorer especially with Rashford out but I'd still prioritse a creative mid above everything. Bruno makes too much sense. But there's a big question mark around him too since he comes from a shit league.

I'm sure they have. But probably like 50M. I feel like we'll sign 1 player and it'll be Bellingham ffs.

We've been linked with some very questionable choices so far though. We have a penchant for reviving the careers of once-heralded players though. Januzaj fits that profile perfectly and is still only 24.
I don't watch enough La Liga to know why he's not able to keep a place in Sociedad's XI though. If its mental or tactical, that's one thing. If he's injury-prone, that's quite another.
