we have been garbage today tbh. we did the same after our first loss last season. losing our first game of the season seems to knock the shit out of us.

Firmino's performance has fallen off a cliff after 60 minutes

He's clearly too tired

What is Klopp waiting for?

Glory wrote:The biggest positive I can take away from that game was the fact that Woodward and one of his American bosses (I believe) were  in the stands watching the shitshow unfold. For that reason alone after their 2nd goal went in I wanted them to score even more to insult them fkers further.

Only something drastic can save this club now really. We need to go further down. Lose more games. So that finally Woodward will be fecked off for good. Glazers will be forced to sell their asset. It doesnt matter who is going to be in charge. Ole, Allegri whoever it is. The board and Woodward will ultimately find a way to screw them over.

I agree with this. Your back 4 is stronger this season, but the quality of your forwards and even midfielders has gone down. Despite boasting quite a large transfer budget at times, your transfer dealings in it's entirety have largely been shite. I think AWB, Daniel James, and transfer fee aside, Maguire have all been positive additions to your team, but overall, the way Man United have handled their ins and outs in the transfer market over the past decade or so has been mildly depressing to witness, even though it's not a club I'm very emotionally attached to.

I do watch all of your matches with my friends who are supporters, and I think the actual football is more entertaining to watch under Ole than it was under Mourinho or Van Gaal, but I imagine the frustration of not being able to score is more frustrating for a fan than it is for me, who's not as invested in the results. Whether you get a new manager or not, it's clear to me that you need to get the squad right if you're going to be competitive. I definitely think the club should cash in on Pogba and get someone more similar to Herrera, who provides a more sustainable performance level. Perhaps, use some of the extra money on strengthening other positions or acquire better depth, as well. I don't think the average Man United fan has the patience for a Wenger-like, long-term plan with the likes of Daniel James and Mason Greenwood transitioning into the starting XI. Hell, I'm sure Arsenal fans didn't have the patience for it, either.

Yeah our pressing in the 1st half was superb, but you cannot keep that up for 90 minutes, certainly not in every game of the season. And for whatever reason 90% of Klopp's substitutions are 80+ minute ones.

What makes you think he didn't want to add depth in the summer? You should be Liverpool's coach, Hans. I'm sure they'd have all of the depth in the world cheers

What makes me think that?

Well, the fact they didn't sign a single player does while selling Solanke and releasing Sturridge

what a stupid stupid question Thimmy

I appreciate your contrarian streak but you could try to be a little smarter going about it

Maybe I'm the type of guy who doesn't want to improve? More depth? Nah! Depth is overrated :coffee:

Actually, maybe it's the club that doesn't want to provide the money required to bring in more additions? Nah, that doesn't make any sense. I'm sure it's just Klopp who's brain damaged Laughing
