Problem with Grizzy as a lone CF, the few times I've seen it, is exactly how this game played out... he becomes a poacher and a very picky poacher at that. He's not strong or tall enough to compete with CBs. So he literally needs to become a ghost so they forget about him and then he suddenly pops up to score.

Tbh, the only time I've seen it is when a team sets up for the counter attack... not a team in possession. So today was a new one. He didn't have the opportunity to use the one trait that would have helped him... his speed. No space. Barca don't transition fast enough and played possession anyhow.

Get the injuries... but I would have played a traffic cone at CF (like was often the case at Atleti) and let Grizzy play like he usually does.

They look very different now though compared with a previously Osasuna, certainly so much better than our last opponent Betis. Commentator kept saying they have evolved compared to years past. Thats the one positive from this game

That was exactly my worry when we were wanting to sign him. Hes sort of CF but not most effective being the guy furthest front, for obviously reasons. So he can never do say what Suarez does for us, and I think his goal ratios show that, so he was never ideal signing for us, but hes so good at many other positions and in general that its good having him. Job is up to Valverde where to play him, he looked quote good on the left or roaming around with Suarez up there. Otherwise if we are without Suarez, perhaps we can try striker less formation again

Fati did NOTHING apart from the goal, trust me having watched the second half. Obviously being a bit harsh consider his age and everything. But atm, no where near good enough to be in our first team, sorry.
