Coming to the conclusion that Alexis Mehchez has been one of the most overpriced, overvalued and overpaid one trick ponies of the last decade.

He never was even good in Udinese bar half a season of some tricks and flicks. Flopped in Barcelona, thought carrying Arsenal for half a season had him beyond his worth before he went mopping around on the pitch like a fallen victim, and then utterly flopped in United when it mattered each time, and remains to expect the pay that is twice more than his washed up car-washing worth.

Unbelievable that Inter are willing to pay this much for a player finished at just 30.

in Udinese he was great indeed
Tandem with Di Natale was marvellous, they carried Udinese on a very competitive league ( the last one great Milan, Scudetto winner, and Inter CL holder).
in Barcelona he didn't play on same levels, but Barcelona is a sort closed caste , few are worthy of that system , even Coutinho can easily flop .. .but I ' d say Sanchez was quite legit. (then they got that needed upgrade with Suarez)
I rate highly the Sanchez admired in Arsenal except for his last year in London (for me he wasn't even professional) but in first 3 years has been one of best players in the league. Not by chance United fought with Guardiola to sign him, and that' s the reason of his wages. So as to convince him , he was overpriced.
in Manchester was a disaster, that's clear.
I think that salary was counterproductive, he sit down, lost his motivations, and injuries and he's been moved away from goalpost ( he's became a CF basically ..) have made the rest.
Anyway Inter aren't trying to buy him or to pay him much (that's the Milan with Correa Very Happy

Inter are just trying to take him on loan with an option and to pay him less than half of his wage ( that's the reason because both clubs don't agree. United demand that Inter pays more for the salary).

There is no need to rewrite history. Sanchez was brilliant for Udinese, his move to Barca wasn't a surprise but a victory for them as he was sought by most clubs. At Barca he wasn't even bad, just not the best among a great group of players. At Arsenal he was huge, none of this half season stuff, he put in top numbers for them until the relationship broke down. He is Chile's all time scorer and won 2 trophies with the NT.

Only at United was he a real flop.

Had to double check and I can confirm Inter did, in fact, spend over 100 mil in player acquisitions. Which puts Inter in "no excuse" territory comfortably. Any shit excuse and self deprecating humour Robes uses should no longer be valid under GL law.
