I was going to say, at least you aren't selling an experienced CB to one of your rivals, but you totally did.
Bayern have not done much this window, haven't they?

Tottenham close to reaching agreement to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala. Deal not done but clubs hopeful. #THFC stepped up interest after their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes ended over fee & Man Utd’s proposed move for Dybala was called off #JUVE #MUFC

Spurs are having an amazing window tbh, even if they lose Eriksen. They needed better midfielders and got them. Now they're adding more attacking options. Even got a good young player in Sessegnon, too.
Aurier Alderweireld Vertonghen Davies
Ndombele Lo Celso
Lucas Dybala Son
Kane
No excuses imo.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
so 100% this means Eriksen is going, probably to Madrid at a cut price? good signing for them
for me, not an improvement for Spurs
but overall they look like a scary team and much improved this season, good that Poch is finally getting some support from Levy after the stadium was built, they have such a better team than us, chelsea and arsenal now.
Levy showing this clown Woodward how it's done.

Season is already over before it's begun. Gonna be very tough to finish 4th. And fully agreed, Ole is as good as sacked already.
I remember reading the reports back in January that we were getting a DOF this summer and being filled with hope. Woodward is a tyrant.

They're basically trading off a very good AM for a Forward who works perfectly with Kane and two really good CMs.
They've been playing Dier, Alli, Winks etc ffs.

no I mean dybala for eriksen isn't an improvement for me rn
overall they've had a massive window, that can't be denied
I also think Eriksen has probably peaked and is about to decline

Cash wise of course not but in terms of the make up of their team, they significantly improved all areas of the team because they likely knew Eriksen was off.
Overall it's a clear improvement.

Still, no RB means this window can never be a 10/10 for Spurs. Would be very spursy to sign Dybala but leave a gaping hole at RB

If they get Dybala (and even if they don't) Spurs have MASSIVELY improved one aspect of the squad and that's how dynamic it is. Imagine going from Winks Sissoko to Lo Celso Ndombele, and then getting Dybala up front instead of Eriksen. All three of those transfers are players who can dribble, complete take ons and go past players. Sissoko, Eriksen and Winks all struggled getting past their man and we're pass first if anything. Sissoko is the only exception but he needs space to be able to get past a player. And he's maybe the worst player I've ever seen at receiving a ball facing his goal and managing to turn with it without losing the ball.
Look at the CL final. Spurs were screaming for players who could take their man on. This would really change the identity of the first XI. Their playmaking doesn't really even take a hit since all 3 are creative players too.

Yeah agreed, what ever you think of Dybala he's clearly the best forward Kane has ever played with at club level lol.
