@Nishankly, it's useless mate . We are probably going to play freaking Rubel and none other than Sakib and Mushfique can get runs even if their life depend on it.
I hope y'all win, need spice in everything coz im Indian

Bumrah or Malinga or Starc in the death overs? Choose one.

Depends if I need wickets taken or just runs restricted. If I need wickets, then Starc and Malinga (well, prime Malinga anyway).

I don't really have a perspective on Cricket but Shami got wickets at the death against England but it was his overs that conceded the runs that made sure we couldn't chase.
That again brings us back to the broad question wickets or runs?
Bumrah doesn't get wickets but doesn't concede runs. Malinga prime probably walks this imo. Does Starc do both? I've not seen enough of him.

If that is your logic, then yea Starc is probably a good in between of wicket taking and not conceding too many runs.

I have no logic lmao, I don't know shit about this sport.
I am just putting an issue forward where a team 300/3 with 3 overs to go where overs or wickets don't matter. It's all about runs.
if you choose Starc that's good, I need to see him in proper action

England again limping over the 300 line after explosive starts, and then restricting the opposition with their bowling.
Maybe I should start giving our bowling more credit. We don't have a star, but they're functioning well as a unit.

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket
Looking like a England - India semi. If/once England kick us out of the world cup, that Dhoni innings against England a few days ago would be looked back for all the wrong reasons. I mean I knew it was tough to beat England with the ever increasing run rate , but that was one of the most disgraceful innings by a world cup winning ex captain I've ever seen.
I have no confidence whatsover especially if India are chasing a total. I'm sure England have figured out that if they get Kohli or Rohit early, that's the game. Can't rely on liabilities like Dhoni to chase a total.
The toss becomes an extremely important factor now. Win the toss and choose to bat. I also think England are far more well equipped to chase a total, better than India anyway.

A good foundation is the key for England. Roy and bairstow once again setting the tempo. I hope butler picks up the form in the semis though.
Bowling has been fantastic in the last 2 matches too.
Agreed with S about the Toss. Only one team has chased 250+ this tournament and that says it all.

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket
Also NZ are pure trash lmao. Can't believe i bought into the hype. They got lucky with the easy wins towards the start and got a point against India due to rain. They don't deserve to be in the Semis. Would much rather have Pakistan or Bangladesh there instead.

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket
I am not a fan of head to head and NRR seems fair. But in this case, Pakistan does deserve to qualify ahead of NZ having won more matches against top 4 teams. NZ has done fk all. Lol anyway this argument would become soon deem pointless cos Bangladesh is going to beat Pak next match.

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket
We had the best team in our history. There's lots of talent and more importantly maturity throughout the lineup, yet we did fuck. Says a lot about our administration, vision, discipline, hunger etc.
I'm depressed.
