Don't believe for a second Arsenal will pay that much for a loan for another attacker when they need defenders so badly.

Upamecano actually has a 100m € release clause (release clauses are not obligatory in Germany and most players at top clubs don't have one). Reportedly, it will sink to 80m € next summer.
So honestly don't think Leipzig would sell for much less then 100m now. Don't think they should sell at all, and Red Bull surely isn't in need of money.

BVB sold Diallo to PSG the other week(I speculated in this thread some time ago one of Akanji or Diallo would become available after Hummels and Morey joined.)
But now, neither Akanji nor Zagadou will be sold IMO.

When he joined Leipzig he looked like an absolute beast, huge guy, fast, technically strong, monster of an defender.

Definitively an enormous CB talent.

But his spell at RB seems to have been patchy with injuries and also IIRC some disciplinary issues.

It looks like it'll be either Rugani, Upamecano or nobody for centre back. Still a chance of Tierney joining but it's very quiet at the moment, so I'm having my doubts.

Mustafi has no concrete offers, either, but there's more time to sell him.

Arsenal have no intention of letting Emile Smith Rowe leave on loan or permanently as a part of the Upamecano deal, and Eddie Nketiah seems to have his pick of clubs, including Bristol City, Leeds, and unnamed clubs from abroad.
