It's the East of course they are lol, fucking Orlando and Detroit made the playoffs.

It's basically the same players minus DeRozan pre Kawhi trade, add Gasol and Siakam basically being all star level now.

They'll be closer to home court than they will missing the playoffs.

I don't see it that way. Siakam's great and all, but I'm not convinced he's ready to be the number one option on a playoff team. Lowry and Gasol may have too much to do for 33-34 year-old guys.

Philly, Milwaukee, Boston and Indiana are better on paper, imo. Brooklyn is a question mark with KD's injury, but they were playing well in the second half of last season anyway and Kyrie's there. Miami, Orlando and Detroit have potential - and I'd add Chicago to the mix if any of the young guys show improvement.

Toronto are in the mix for the 5-8 spots but it's not certain at all they'll make it with this team, imo.

Yeah but the level between not making the playoffs and finishing 5th or 6th is pretty big.

They are still far too good to get sub 40 wins which is what it would take to miss the playoffs.

He might even make deals to get better tbh, you have a tonne of guys on expiring contracts.
