I don't see the point in not talking about it already or downplaying it.

There's never been an NBA player who was dominant in pre season and then suddenly was trash when the real stuff started.

I mean just look at the people putting numbers in this pre season, it's all nba guys like Giannis and Steph.

It's not like I'm saying he's better than this or that player or hyping up his overall standing in the game.

I'm pointing out certain things he does and then in this case pointing out his success against DPOY.

I really don't see what's wrong with that.

I think it's completely fair to point out his numbers in preseason and then also make the comment that it's "preseason". I don't think there is any ill will here from EG nor do I think you're unnecessarily hyping Zion

I wanted to come back and just clarify that I am and have been on the Zion hype train for a long time. I think he's going to be incredible.

There's no way in hell Zion averages 24 a game btw Freeza, nothing against him but we don't really run a offence which is conducive to that sort of total.

In the pre season i don't think he took more than 13 shots in a game.

They're gonna have a crazy fucking pace this season. Any other team I'd guess around 19-21.

Lonzo is perfect for him (to get a lot of points, since he really prefers not to shoot) and I expect him to be around 24ppg, truly.

He took 13 shots, and averaged more than 23 in 27 minutes. That's not normal. I've legit never seen anything like this guy.

I actually feel the opposite, i think if was in a worse situation i could see him averaging 24 where he's putting up numbers for a bad team.

But he won't reach it for us because his shot attempts will be more limited.

Agree with Mole, Jrue and Ingram are other primary scorers on that team.

15 fga will be plenty enough to get get 24 ppg

14-15 shots per game plus free throws and Zion's ppg could start with a 2.

Am I crazy thinking that the Suns could be decent? Rubio, Booker, Oubre, Saric, Ayton doesn't sound bad to me.

Suns have a bunch of young players which have a history of losing.

Don't see that changing anytime soon.

Three of those are useless. Also leaving off Lakers invalidates every single other thing on your list. And injuries isn’t an excuse since the most injury prone players in the league are on your 1st seed.
