— confirmed that a defender and midfielder have been signed as free agents (Christensen and Kessie)
— ruled out Haaland (and Mbappe) due to their wage demands
— confirmed he wants to bring Raphinha (in case Dembele leaves, presumably)
— loves Joao Felix and tried to swap him for Griezmann in the summer but Atleti declined
— Dembele doesnt want to accept new salary structure, possibly already has an agreement with another club, his agent is a "box of surprises"
— Messi won't return, there's no contacts or will for his comeback
— Gavi and Araujo renewals are progressing well
— wants to swap Adama with Trincao


in another news, SPORT says Salah has options to come to Barca and evaluates chances of it happening at 60% (Haaland 30% and Lewandowski 10%) which sounds reasonable.

Mostly good decisions, though I fail to understand this weird obsession with Raphinha. I would go for Nico Williams to replace Dembélé. Even someone like Iñaki Williams would be a perfect replacement for Aubameyang. He is 33 and can't play week in week out. He can play both on the side as well as in the centre, much like Auba.

I'm not Brazilian and I endorse this.

AS: Xavi wants a top centre-back for next season and the club have resumed contacts with Sevilla and Jules Koundé in recent weeks. The inclusion of players to make the operation cheaper is likely. Koundé loves the idea of playing under Xavi and his salary won't be a problem.

Kounde-Araujo would be an amazing CB pairing.

Gaya's contract runs out next year though, so probably get him then on a free. Alba will be a starter for one more season anyway

I have lost count on how many players you have Barca wanting / getting only to see if a couple days later, “any club” wants 60M and Barca refuses!

Wouldnt get too excited since many of these online sources are just fake wanting to get clicks/views out of nothing, just entertainment really... wait till reliable n actual new sites report them.

AS is anything but reliable when it comes to RM. They had a falling out with Perez a few years ago and they've been kept out of anything Madrid related ever since

Meh, I found that either of Mundo Deportivo, AS and MARCA are pretty much the same and quite reliable when it comes to Barca stuff

Gaya is very much a believable rumor since its been around for a bit longer, and he's attainable. Kounde will be harder because he's got a high release clause and players would have to be involved probably

Why do you prefer Silva to De Jong? How are you planning to line up? With Busquets on his final legs, you need a DM. Without De Jong you don't have any replacement for Busquets. Nico can't play there, he isn't ready and might never be. Pedri and Gavi both play where Silva would potentially play.

I dont see De Jong as a direct replacement of Busquets, didnt like him as a single pivot and Xavi doesnt seem to either

He could work in a double pivot with Kessie but no idea how good Kessie will turn out to be, and I dont think Xavi wants a double pivot either.

The lineup I'd prefer taking into account the rumored players:
