Digne was always a solid backup, many people actually wanted him to start instead of prime Alba because they felt he was better defensively. Semedo is nowhere near that.

Suarez to Atletico? Already have a bet that Atletico will finish above Barca if that happens. 12 points between Barca and Atleti last season when Atletico's main striker was Morata with 12 goals all season. Suarez flips that easily.

Digne was semi-solid defensively but absolute garbage going forward. Semedo was semi-good going forward but poorer defensively.

I don't see how you would come to a conclusion that Digne is the better player. At best they're about the same level with Semedo being younger.

Maybe people wanted Digne to be a starter from the get-go but later they forgot all about that and I don't even remember anybody commenting on his departure.

Ahh no. Semedo is a top RB.... ppl dont seem to understand how much pressure our RB gets in every game due to whats in front of them. A Messi that rarely helps defend deep, and a midfield thats been easily overrun.

If we really let him go it would be a disaster for us. And the final nail in the coffin for Barto and prove that Koeman wont last.

Not many Ajax speak that highly of Dest so quite interesting that us and Bayern are interested in him, he isn't even really first choice for them either.

18-20M for Garcia who barely has first team football and on his final year of his contract is quite high I don't mind him coming back as he may develop into a good or at least a back up CB.

You can excuse every single player in the squad by saying that all his teammates are shit so that specific player can't flourish and it wouldn't even be wrong, the squad is nothing special. But Semedo individually is simply mediocre. He is no threat in attack and bad defensively in 1-on-1s.

Yea I guess I just have to disagree futbol. Semedo is not perfect, but hes the best we have had for a long while and damn good at many things. Roberto and Digne who I havent followed since he left for Everton has their strengths going forward, Roberto's strength is his passing and link play being a Barca player for so long, but physically he is just too weak.

Anyway, I pray that we dont let Semedo go without getting a proper replacement. Roberto at RB will really be a disaster.

I usually agree but this time I am shocked that you rate Roberto higher. He is truly the biggest fraud of this decade at Barca. I have no idea how he managed to stay for so long at the club. Normally he'd already be playing for a club like Villarreal or worse. Another spanish leech.

I don't rate Roberto high. I rate Semedo low. Roberto is an okay utility player who can be solid as a 12th man all across the pitch. Semedo is just a shit rightback who offers nothing in offense or defense.

Just read up to date on things, and wow, just wow. We are letting Vidal and Suarez go FOR FREE Loooooooooool. I mean to get themselves into such ridiculous circumstances, the directors have gotta lose money from these type of deals right in the end? These players could still bring in millions under normal management and transfers, there really are just the WORST DEALS I HAVE EVER SEEN.

Semedo looks set to complete the 30M move to Wolves, looool. Well I watched their game vs Man C last night and they are decent, so will keep an eye on them just to see how he fares, and if they can have another good season.

And so for us, we are then trying to use these 30M to find a replacement in the 2 weeks left or so in the transfer market, or if not, just play Roberto there - We are truly fecked this sesaon.

Puzzling comment. I don't disagree but my question is am I supposed to find a new club to support? New board will come in and soon new cycle will begin.

New president will only learn from Bartomeu's mistakes. What has been happening in the past years is his fault and sadly poor management has become synonymous with Barca because of Bartomeu but that'll change.

I have to have hope because Barca is the only team I truly enjoy watching.
