It's a bit late to sell Pogba but who knows... i think only Real is still in the race... probably they would give cash + Bale. Then you'd be all set.

But assuming you don't, That's why i say it's pointless to buy Fernandes at 60M, since as you said you don't need to sell Pogba to afford him. Well for 10-20 more you can get SMS who i believe could do well with Pogba and Matic. It would be a quite complete midfield.

Fernandes on the other hand is a coin flipping move, can't really know what to expect since portuguese league is low level.

Sometimes it's hard to find the logic behind transfer rumors.

Trippier to Atletico for 28M? I thought hes a regular for Spurs and in his prime? Or they have decided hes too slow or something? Should be very good for Atletico since they rely so much on set pieces and crosses, hes gonna need to improve his defending though if hes to become a regular for them for sure.

I only watched tottenham sporadically last season, but he was largely poor, from what I could tell. Danny Rose is actually a quality fullback, though. I wonder why they're letting him go.
