I'm not too fond of it either. I don't think injuries has been his only issue for us. He seemed to be far behind in the pecking order when he was fit during Zidane's last tenure. Would've absolutely preferred to keep him as a backup, but I suppose it was in his best interest to leave. As for Atletico, contrary to recent reports, Joao Felix doesn't seem to be going to the red side of Madrid. The future of their team looks to be up in the air, right now.

I think the purchase of Joao Felix is solely dependent on the sale of Griezmann. If Antoine isn't sold, I think there is no money for Felix.

Which makes sense, as they somewhat play the same position

No way would Barcelona wait all the way till July to announce the signing of a world renown footballer. That honestly makes little sense.

i dont know the exact reason why he can't announce it just yet, my understanding is, it's contractual. i think his clause goes down to 120 mil in july and it's the start of the next fiscal year. I dont know if there are rules about announcing it in advance, but that's how they chose to proeed. It's done.

rofl nice piece of business by the club

If we can do the same for Bale thatd be great. We should hold on to James for as long as possible. We might even break the 80M boundry with how he's playing in the Copa

Chelsea pretty much had to buy him as they probably won't be able to sign anyone this summer, so that is why the price might be a bit inflated.

The 50m seems to be including bonuses, so I'd say it's closer to 35m

It's 45m according to Marca, not 50. A small difference but still a difference.

Marca reporting that Ceballos wants to stay and fight for his spot. I admire the boy’s spirit at least.

Ah Deez, Marca just reporting part of interview. He said I don’t want to be sold! He also said no matter where he plays, he wants to feel important! He would prefer a loan or a sale with buyback!

Why would Lucas want to leave. His seasons follow a common pattern:

Starts as a reserve player --> Bale gets injured ---> Asensio is non productive ---> we start to leak goals and losing games at an alarming rate ---> Lucas becomes the starter by December and stays that way until end of the season

We need a new RW ffs

Well if Vini and Rodrygo are planned to play RW then it's a lot less likely your series of events plays out that way.

We have already tried Vini at RW. It lasted a half. Will ZZ trust Rodrygo over Lucas? The answer is most possibly no. That scenario will play out like I put it out this coming seasn unless we get a new RW in trust me

He is gonna have to perform on that wing, if not I still think 4231 still puts our attacker in their best positions.

Also we have not talked about Kubo here, kid is another straight up baller. Kubo and Brahim are too left footed baller no one is expecting to do much, I'm rooting for both

No he'll just have to outperform his competitors. Easy peasy given that both his competitors are rubbish or never available. I hope Brahim stays but I doubt it

Even with a 4231 well still need a RW. Vini woule play on the left, Hazard behind the striker and whoever on the right

I'm not gonna disagree, you know I was actually looking a Marca piece about City wanting to sign Isco, and knowing Sané wants out of City, I started wondering, why not make that deal? Serves everyone involved. Exchange plus cash or whatever arranges both clubs, we all win

I doubt Isco will move. I get the club want to cash in but ZZ isn't going to push him out and he won't want to move from Spain for family reasons

The club should focus on getting Bale off their books

Doesn't Sane play on the left? I'd rather the club go after Pepe or Dembele

Please keep that Numpty Dembele away from here last thing we should be doing is financing barca efforts to sign Neymar back, they are difficult enough to eat as is.

Sané on theory can play on the right, he did so at Schalke before Guardiola stuck him on the left. It was just a thought anyway.
