AEW Full Gear was a great show. Hopefully a sign they are back to their pre-pandemic form. The womens division needs a lot of fixing in year two.

Tv ratings:

AEW Dynamite - 0.45
NXT - 0.17
Raw - 0.51
Smackdown (last week) - 0.6

I remember when Raw was dropping from the 4.0s to 3.0s and people were panicking. (~2005ish). Then Edge and Lita had their live sex celebration and ratings popped up huge. Good times.

Anyway, seems like there's a splash with Omega showing up on Impact and forming another Bullet Club OG with the Good Brothers. Along with NJPW Wrestlekingdom coming up (although this is probably their weakest card in the last 4 years), might actually start watching some wrestling again.

The story is that he was feeling fine, then randomly one day on his training bike he realized he couldn't finish his workout and checked into the clinic.

They tested him for COVID multiple times, but it was all negative. He had a lung issue that saw him at the mayo clinic for weeks and in the end, they couldn't find what was wrong with his lungs.

So it very much came out of nowhere. Sad to see.

Yea just a golden generation in term of talents, that's what happen when you absorb almost all of WCW's roster and manage to hit quite a few jackpots with your own talents.

Obviously not trying to belittle Vince McMahon or attribute his success to luck, guy is an absolute genius. really looking forward to his upcoming Netflix documentary, hope they show his real side and don't censor any stuff.

There isn't one because they haven't built anybody, you know the same story for the last 15 years lol.

I have no issue with the Edge decision, i probably would have preferred Daniel Bryan for story related reasons but it's cool.

I've seen a lot of people complaining about it because "he's a part timer" but if you can't tell the difference between Edge and Goldberg or Brock i can't do nothing for you lol.

One thing i will say this Roman Reigns character is the hottest thing (from a momentum pov) i have seen in literal years.

It's a shame that firstly there is no fans atm and secondly they've spent the last 15 years being a complete shit show so nobody gives a shit anyway because he's currently at a level very few people have ever touched.

Daniel Bryan would have been a far better choice given he's never won the rumble before, younger,, can match the popularity and stature of Reigns, and has a ready made storyline with Reigns.

That's honestly why they probably didn't do it.

But considering Bryan is part of creative i think he's trying to put guys over right now tbh. He knows they can flip it with him any time they want.

The fact Bryan was literally the reason Roman failed as a babyface is the most compelling story you could have told imo.

But looks like they have other plans.

Yeah but you don't get guys over by jobbing to everyone before him. You get guys over by winning and then doing the job, so when you do the job it actually means something.

I wonder what's in store for Drew. He's been given a super push but there's no way he's facing Sheamus at Wrestlemania surely. Laughing

It won't be.

I think they're aware at this point that Sheamus isn't a WM main event player.

It's why i want Edge vs McIntyre, there's simply more opponents for Roman than there are for Drew.

Which says how terrible Raw creative has been, Smackdown has actually been pretty good since Roman turned so there's actual opponents for him.

Roman vs Edge would be a great programme but I'm pretty sure it makes the card overall worse.

Putting people over isn't going to do much unless the superstar is good enough and already over. Just hurts his credibility losing constantly for no reason. It has to come at the right moment against someone who is on their way up. Bryan's been losing to Jey Uso, NXT wrestlers and cruiserweights.
