Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Roman Reigns will not be part of the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 36 as planned.

Sources with knowledge of the situation tell us Reigns expressed to WWE that he didn’t feel comfortable doing anymore of the Performance Center shows during the coronavirus pandemic because he’s immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia and didn’t want to risk his health.

We’re told WWE honored his request and he will now be replaced by someone else in the match against Goldberg, though it’s unclear who at this time.

As we previously reported, Stephanie McMahon detailed the many safety precautions the company is currently taking while filming shows during the coronavirus pandemic. This includes taking people’s temperatures and making sure they’re in perfect health before entering the WWE Performance Center, as well as not allowing anyone inside who has been out of the country (or in touch/contact with anybody who has been out of the country).

WrestleMania is scheduled to air April 4 and 5 on WWE Network and PPV.

From what i gather a Buried Alive style match but it's set in a off shoot location instead of the arena.

They probably just didn't want to call it Buried Alive in the world we currently live in

Good promo from Taker, but I think pipebombs have run their course. They were cool and edgy when Punk did them, but now that everything's exposed, there's no shock factor. I think it's come full circle. It seems a bit strange now when people use their real names, talk about booking, who's over etc in promos. It kind of like yeh, we already know his name is Mark Callaway and that his wife is Michelle McCool, but I'm watching to see the Undertaker.

Things have been exposed since the mid 90s when Vince basically came out on TV and admitted as much.

why am i reading Wrestlemania is this weekend? isn't WWE on lockdown?? or have they filmed the stuff before lockdown?? always thought WWE was shot and broadcasted live

They've pre-recorded a show at their Performance Centre, which they're broadcasting across two days.

WWE and AEW are still putting on shows, just with no live audiences. It's crazy but they have obligations to TV companies, I guess.

Without crowd noise, Wrestlemania is really going to distinguish who are the good wrestlers and who are not.

It starts in a couple of hours and they still haven't announced what matches will be on Night 1 and what matches will be on Night 2...

Tbh its a solid card but some of these matches Elias vs Corbin is a match that would be a pissbreak if it was on Smackdown, Street Profits vs Garza and Theory is something one would fast forward in a weekly NXT show.
