Nioh 2

Hmmmm. Looks more like Nioh 1.5 than Nioh 2.

Not a lot of changes from the 1st one but then it's only 'Alpha'

Looks exactly like the first one, from what I can tell. I didn't even finish the first one. Got massively burnt out by it, and then my PS4 disc drive stopped working.

was discussing this with someone so will copy paste what I said there since too lazy

gotta say I'm slightly surprised though that it seems like the same sort of feudal japanese setting as the first, I guess playing it safe since it sold well and maybe we'll get some other scenery during the game, but I kinda thought it was possible the entire game would be set in another period/culture this time
not that I'm complaining, I'd rather it be the same setting as the original

honestly so long as they improve on the enemy, variety, day 1

first was very good, lot of recycled assets though, clearly

I am hoping for the same. More enemy variety and more soundtrack variety.

Thought the combat was really one dimensional at times so maybe they can improve on that.

Played the Alpha. It is 1.5 indeed. Actually more like a 1.2. Hardly any changes. I know its the Alpha so hope we get way more changes on the final product.

You play as a created character like Dark Souls. I liked William Anjin, hoped we would get a pre-existing historic character again tbh.

I'm in for this. The first one was excellent, if they get more enemy types in and make a good package it should be great.

I played it a bit, got towards the end of it, gonna finish it off tomorrow

same old Nioh tbh, better than Sekiro. Customization looks cool. Pretty hyped for the full game.

played it a decent amount the last day

tough but fair but fucking tough

a lot of it is that the souls playstyle is just too ingrained in me and the Nioh gameplay is far deeper

definitely feeling like Nioh 1.2 though
