PSP exclusive so if you have that somewhere, you can get it still.

I'm not gonna lie, the episode Ignis DLC for FF XV is a lot better than I had expected. Wish it had been a little bit longer, though. Finished it in about 90 minutes. If the base game had the same amount of quality and substance, I'd have no complaints at all. If this is what Tabata is capable of producing on his own, then I'm positively looking forward to his future work. With that being said, I can't wait to complete this DLC and delete this forgettable game off my HD for good.

Turned RG into a full time From Software employee and Firenze hasn't played anything since ffs.

To those of you who care, the Dissidia beta just switched out a few of it's playable characters for other ones. Say what you want about the game, but the fanboy in me appreciates being able to play as different characters from the FF universe Razz

yeah, it is great. I have stretches where I can/cant play MMOs. This past winter I was able to alot, after a 2 year break from the game. If your a fan of the series, its worth checking out. Just dont get hooked tho ^^

I always thought it looked childish, as well. I've only heard great things about it, though. A lot of people enjoy Kingdom Hearts more than they do the FF series.

Nah, I haven't. A friend of mine once told me that if there was only one game he could recommend me, it would be the Kingdom Hearts series. I believe I mentioned it on here once. A few other people have recommended it to me as well. I just haven't gotten around to playing it, yet.

I remember when a friend told me about kingdom hearts during high school. Thought it sounded ridiculous and childish. Then gave it a go and it was great.

It is corny for sure, but tons of fun.

The overarching story got super convoluted since they started making the handheld games. Since I didn't have any of them I cant follow it too closely.

Just beat 1 and 2. Great games. 1 is super dated now but it was great back then. 2 is still great. Heard the psp one was one of the best ones but haven't played it.

3 looks like it can be the best, the gameplay looks really evolved.

Basically if you like final fantasy stuff and enjoy Disney they are good. The music is top notch, some of the best in gaming imo.

I'll look into playing some of the games in the collections they released for ps4 that contain all of them.

I didn't play the old FF games but I'd say nah, this FF15 is a modernized JRPG and I don't think you would get too many feelings of nostalgia beyond the surface level tropes that are rampant in all JRPG's.

I still get angry about FF15 tbh as to me it had potential to be one of the GOAT. The foundation is there it's just like a 5 star hotel that's only had the framework built. If only it were more fleshed out. Sad

It's a beautiful game to look at though with a very nice OST. I'd pick it up for cheap.

You're probably against mobile games but it was mentioned in this thread earlier by someone and also online a bunch but if you want a nostalgia FF experience, play the mobile game Brave Exvius. I dabbled in it a bit and it's very much an oldschool classic RPG. Just with online elements.

Square Enix is such a mess when it comes to this franchise its incredible, very poorly handled.
