He actually acted like a leader on the pitch today. Brilliant. Varane-Ramos

Good Performance by Ramos today although lost bit of concentration to concede a goal in the end...

Pepe turned a kid on his b'day. Looks like both Ramos & Pepe take turns to be -La Loca on a given day tongue

I'm glad Mourinho wasn't tempted to play him at right back, had an excellent game today, I still fell he could have done better on the Alba goal but I'm not complaining. Arbeloa was solid in defence as usual, it's a shame he offers nothing when we want to attack.

Had a meh game, got drawn away from his position numerous times and fault for couple of stupid challenges. By his standards he had a WC game Laughing

The difference in playing style between Varane and Ramos is so stark, you sometimes wonder which of them 27 and which is 19. I still believe Pepe - Varane partnership is the best, hopefully we'll see the two together against Galatasary on Tuesday.

Lots of rumours that Ramos and Mou have repaired their relationship and are on the same page again. Hope it's true because that would be great for the team's morale and stability.

Mou complained that we didn't foul Lewandowski at all in the first match. Ramos made him his bitch today.

Ok but by constant elbowing into his face? I appreciate that Ramos is a top CB, but hes so dirty consistently its just....anyway, nobody is perfect. I was more impressed by Lewand not reacting Razz

From what I've read, Ramos is resembling Juanito, taking his temper in account. However, thank you, CAPTAIN !!!

I've never seen him so emotional after a defeat. Just shows u how much it meant to him.
Doesn't matter what others say, he's a beast of a CB and a true big game player.

El Matador - Sergio Ramos - Page 9 Empty Re: El Matador - Sergio Ramos

Post by guest7 Thu May 09, 2013 7:13 pm

Many Blancos players have had their say over Iker Casillas continually being benched, Pepe backing the club captain and Jose Mourinho's subsequent backlash against both his charges in the past week.

However, the Spain defender is fed up of all the verbal sparring in the media between the players and has called for everybody to put their egos aside and sort out their differences once the current campaign is over.

"Maybe it's time to put an end to the controversies, to put a stop to the squabbling over Iker, Pepe and Mourinho," he told reporters at the Madrid Open, where he watched Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal beat Mikhail Youzhny 6-2 6-3 in the third round.

"What we need to do is look for unity within the team. It's time to stop thinking about our own egos and think about the final. After the final of the Copa [is the time for people] to sort everything out."

 The guy has matured, what a great thing to see.

Still needs to defend Higuain openly. He and Iker tbh has to.

Ramos Proud

Still needs to defend Higuain/Benz (Benz got booed as well apparently) but aside from that he's been a great example since his truce with Jose. I think he made up for his stupid stunts earlier this season.

Another Sad day for Ramos. I thought he matured by now. Promising is the word since he arrived, but the sad reality he is still Promising, but not living up to it.

Post by Onyx Mon Dec 02, 2013 7:26 pm

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has declared: "Yes, I have a different point of view from Florentino Perez, the same differences that you can have with a father, something to solve inside the family. It has nothing to do with money of with the new contract, I have three more years on my deal with Real".
