Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
Makes sense. Juventus is the easiest place for Raiola to move him on again in 3 - 4 years, possibly to Man United after which he can move him on again easily. From PSG it would have been impossible to move him on, they'd just offer double the salary for contract extension to which De Ligt could not say "no" but Raiola would get no transfer commissions.

Juventus have received positive signals from Matthijs de Ligt, who is now ready to say yes for a move to Turin. New contacts are expected today https://t.co/VXXOVSTdfa

@hala, signing a young kid like De Ligt and paying him way more than your senior players is an example of breaking your wage structure.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
Barca refused to meet his 12M net wage demands, Juve agreed. Terrific player but if I were a Juve fan I'd be wishing for this ambizione to go into the midfield, defense is already decent even if it's getting older. I get the reasoning, CHiellini is almost done, Ligt can be a leader for 5+ years for you. But you want to win the CL now, with CR7. Not gonna be doing that with a bunch of Can's, Ramsay's and Matuidi's in the engine room.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
If Chiellini is out our defense doesnt function. He is our most important player. His age and injuries mean he is often out so signing his replacement is necessary.
Looks like Ramsey and Rabiot are our midfield reinforcements.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
As far as I know we have sold some loaned players for a total profit of 50-60m (Like Audero or Orsolini etc.) and we will most likely sell Cancelo to City for 55-60m. So basically that means we'll still have money to bring another midfielder if we want to.
With players such Khedira Higuain Matuidi and Mandzukic all ready to part we can even reach Pogba imo. An offer of Costa or Sandro + cash will be enough. He wants to leave ManUtd. If not then we can focus on other names with 70-80m ready to spend for a top quality midfielder. Maybe Savic or James or Koke idk but I really hope we bring another top midfielder to solve our problems once and for all.
My main concern is that we might focus on Icardi and just bring Rabiot + Ramsey.
IMO we don't need Icardi if the rumors of Sarri deploying CR7 as a no.9 are true.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
From what i read
Juventus, Raiola, De Ligt have all agreed to the contract that was leaked last week (12M salary for 5 years) 8M net + 4M bonus
The remaining step is to negociate with Ajax who ask for 75M. In other words he should be announced soon enough.

De Ligt | PSG refused to agree to player's terms due to 'a matter of ethics and respect', report RMC.
The €150m exit clause was deemed unreasonable, with a source at the club saying: "When you've just arrived, to already be wanting things to leave, it's not classy."

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
PSG paid quarter billion for Neymar but talking about ethics, priceless. Better late than never to be run properly I suppose.
Also, Jjuve with the big money moves, I like it. Meanwhile, the two Milan clubs begging Arsenal and Utd for their players with their pockets turned out, Roma getting Americanised and Napoli probably need to sell first before they can get James. Serie A is gonna be lit.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
150m release clause if true is a good business from Juve. Riola will start making noise 3 years from now to force a move, but with that kind of money I don’t think Juve will complain much. Also brilliant to see PSG getting dicked. Their machiavellinism is pretty much exposed here refusing to accept an exit clause. If De ligt goes there, he’s pretty much stuck for life.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
Is Rabiot going to Juve as well? There were rumors linking him to the Old Lady not too long ago, but they seem to have died out recently, which is strange because he'll be a free agent in a couple days.
I guess we'll know soon enough.

Re: Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich
It makes no sense because release clauses are not legal in France. You simply can't put one in a contract. sounds fakeGlory wrote:150m release clause if true is a good business from Juve. That may be the case, but even if it was acceptable, can't see PSG of all clubs agreeing to sign such a clause.

dream transfer
Barca wouldn't guarantee this guy a starting spot. We wanted him but the PL would expose him like Llorente did in the CL. The only other option was JJUVE.
Enjoy your suped up Rugani.

Mino Raiola's work, obviously. That's definitely a red flag.
